Right.... honest review.. single mum.. bought a jigsaw.. didnt..couldnt cut straight..first time laminate floor diy-er.It took me 3 hours to lay 2 rows after cutting with jigsaw..AND NOT NEAT... purchased this... completed full room within 45 mins.. MINIMUM MESS... perfectly straight... ALL WHILST KIDS WHERE ASLEEP.. couldnt be happier

Very poor flimsy design and does not cut wood laminate flooring as it says it does. Left a very poor finish on the third of a plank that it did manage to cut but would cut beyond that so needed to revert to a hand saw. Very poor product and would not recommend anyone purchases it as it is not fit for the purpose it been described.

It cuts fine. A bit ragged underneath, but no one sees that and the top is clean (which would generally be under skirting anyway).I found the packaging and design odd. It comes semi assembled and you have to put the handle on. It would fit in the box in the same way with the handle already attached, so why not put it together with the rest of it?The black sliding part needs an allen key to be moved, which isn't going to remain with the cutter for long. Would be better with a clip or butterfly screw or wing nut.

Bought as a used item out of the warehouse for £35. Money well spent as it made light work of cutting 8mm laminate flooring. Much better, easier to use and far less messy than using a jigsaw to cut laminate. Wish I'd had one the previous time I laid flooring! Highly recommended.

Didn't cut laminate of thickens 9mm, may be useful for thinner, but don't know that yet :(

Amazingly good laminate cutter, I could never go back to using a saw after using this tool, Saves time mess and completely silent compared to the hassle of using a saw. If you are worried about the underside of your boards looking rough at the edges when nobody will see this after fitting correctly then I don't know what to tell you, I have fitted laminate for over 10 years and always remove the skirting boards before fitting to hide the edges. Excellent tool.

Amazingly easy to use. Makes quick work of laying down the floor. I did mine with the help of my 13 year old daughter. Yes it does take a small slice out of the plank but this was not a problem. Yes it does make the back ruff but not unusable by any stretch of the imagination. It uses no electricity is quiet and the mess is limited to the area you are working in not spread out in the air. I would recommend this to anyone the diy’er or professional. The only thing that I think would improve this product would be to include a brace/stand to keep the board you are cutting level, I used the box that my laminate came in!

I purchased this product in order to make fitting the Laminate Flooring in my hallway easier as I had many cuts to make but sadly this product does not deliver and consequently I have resorted to cutting each piece with a hand saw. Money poorly spent as this cutter will end up being disposed of at the tip.Do Not Purchase - Waste of Money
