Nice, cheap model
A flat-packed dinosaur for just a couple of pounds! Can't be bad.Nice little present (and really light & easy for posting too).Covers a fairly wide age-range too (little ones can watch Mum or Dad making it, older ones can 'help' find the right pieces etc. and still older ones can get on with it by themselves).I have used various of these for children from 3yrs up to 6yrs or so.It would probably be fine for children a bit older too, who I guess could paint it etc. if wanted - paint not included!.The pleasure is in making it, and looking at the finished product. It is definitely a model rather than a toy, and I doubt it would last long if 'played with' (certainly by smaller children). It isn't really designed for that though and I haven't tested it!I guess you could probably make it more robust by purchasing glue & sticking the pieces in place, but it probably isn't worth it (we haven't).I guess that you can dismantle & re-make the models if you wish (though some care might be needed to avoid damaging the pieces).Overall a good few minutes of entertainment for a wide range of ages at little cost and with an end result they can have on their bookshelf or whatever to admire.

Nice set, a bit wobbly when assembled
I purchased this for my 7 year old sons birthday. I was attracted to it mainly as it was a 2.99 add on item and my son loves dinosaurs. It arrived flat packed and each piece is laying flat in a piece of wood that's been precut, you just push them out. My son did it alright, we didn't have any issues with splinters or sharp edges or anything. It slotted together easy and our son was able to understand how to put it together. My only issue is that once together it is a bit rigid and doesn't stand up on its own well. I thought my son may want to display it in his room, but he has just taken it apart and put it back together loads of times, so although it being wobbly is a bit annoying, it hasn't affected my sons use of it. For the price it was a good afternoon activity. We are going to paint it to look more like bones at the weekend and reassemble it once its dry. So for 2.99 its will have given us loads of bits to do, but not perfect if you plan on displaying it.

Dinosaur fantastic!
The Tyrannosaurus arrived quickly came on two wood sheets with push out parts easy to pop out and then used the supplied sandpaper to remove any rough edges. The instructions were a little hard to follow as visual guide only but with a little ingenuity can be constructed fairly quickly. We then used wood glue to keep everything in place (purchased separate) as he likes to pick everything up, my son loves it sits on the bookshelf in his room.Took around 20-25 mins to assemble.

Once built, make sure you don't touch it.
Fun to build with my six year old, however, it is very fragile and will fall apart at the slightest of touches. At least the pieces, themselves, have not broken, so am able to rebuild it.

Fantastic service
When ordered I was advised arrival would be between 19th and 22nd. It arrived today, the 18th. Thrilled. It looks substantial too but no other insights as wrapping it up for grandson!Thank you Cheltenham model centre.

Exactly what you'd expect for £3.
Flimsy as hell, but for three quid you can't complain - the fun is in the assembly, which my son enjoyed.
