Tutel Hard Shell Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover|Fits 2015-2025 Ford F150 5'5"Bed (66") - TULH016

Bought this for my 2024 F150 Lariat in Star White, with the 3.5L V6 hybrid engine that I purchased a week ago. It has a 5.5 foot bed, with a Line-X liner, and I did not want to put in a box. This came in 2 days early. Instructions are a little hard to follow but figured out that the two raised clasps go next to the rear window. Got it into the bed and removed the cardboard by myself but my wife had to help me place it on the rails as I am 72. It comes with weather stripping for the rail next to the window. I lined it up evenly on both sides and attached the hardware. The rear two pieces attach securely and were easy to install. They are 4 attachments, 2 for each side. for the rest of the cover. These need to be improved IMO. The bolt goes through the opening and when the handle is pushed down, it is supposed to secure it to the rails. Only it doesn't.It does not fit tight enough and will come loose. Rather than send it back, I modified the 4 attachments. I put the bolt through the attachment in the "open position" meaning the handle is parallel to the cover. I put on a fender washer, a lock washer and a wing nut and secured it. The threads are metric - M6 x 1. It is now held down really tight. It is a a little more difficult to remove the wing nuts but not too bad. I lower the tailgate, remove the first two wing nuts, fold over the top, remove the second set of wing nuts and fold it back onto the final cover and strap it down. I put the hardware in a plastic container with a lid and put it in a storage place on the truck. The manufacturer included an extra bolt and hardware. Oh, after receiving my order, they messaged me to double check the size of my bed. It seems some people can't tell the difference in a 5.5', or a 6.5' or an 8' bed. Thought that was a good thing to do.Now I can put a Rubbermaid plastic container in the bed for the stuff I carry (quart of oil, jumper cables, tow strap, tire pump, etc.). We are headed to the mountains of North Georgia Thursday and now the luggage can be secured, leaving the back seat empty. I applied a trim restorer to the cover and it shined up very well. I can stand on this cover and I am 6'2" and 238 pounds. Charlotte, uh, that's her name, really looks good. It is supposed to storm tomorrow but be clear the rest of the week, so I'll update when we get back as to how this cover performed.Update: I discovered that the threaded openings in the rollers were not tapped all the way through. Hey, mistakes happen. I contacted their support and they have sent new latches via FedEx. That's good customer service! Thank you Miss Sue.We spent several days in the mountains of NE Alabama (Little River Canyon) and NW Georgia (Cloudland Canyon) , beautiful country and this tonneau cover performed great. No leaks at all. Nor does it vibrate at Interstate speeds when secured.All in all, well pleased with this cover and it looks good on my white "metallic flake" F150.

I love, love, love this cover. It arrived in excellent condition and took me about 15 minutes to install. The hardest part was getting it centered on the bed rails. I have had the smallest amount of water after a torrential Florida downpour! Otherwise, it's bone dry. The construction is solid, and it looks great on my truck!

Perfect fit! Very well built and sturdy. Since install, we've had several thunderstorms, I've been to the car wash many times, and it has never leaked! Install was pretty straight forward. Instructions weren't the most clear, but honestly, you can install this without them.

Looks perfect, well built, good value. Instructions are lacking. Check you tube for some great videos. I had a hard time figuring which panel aligned with the front rail. Doesn't seem important, but his thing is a bit heavy so you want to be sure when you load it that it will unfold properly. One important way to figure it out is to look for the panel that has the clips the tie down straps go in. That is your front panel.Improve the instructions and this is a fiver.

I love this cover!! I have a 2019 Ford F-150 Lariat and had a double fold Leonard on it the day I bought it. Every time it rained, bed of the truck had water. When there was a heavy rain, I would get a few gallons of water in the bed. Leonard dealer had no interest in making it right, after a spending $1200 for the cover. I was at the point of not being able to keep anything in the bed of my truck, unless it was in a plastic container to keep dry, in case it rained.Bought this to replace as it was recommended from a buddy. Came in and I installed. Took about an hour to complete (take off old included). I have had this n for several months now and have had multiple rain storms, some heavy. The bed of my truck remained dry the entire time!!! The clamp system is adjustable and you can really crank down on them. That however, is not needed. Just enough pressure to allow the seals to do their job. If there is any drawback to this connection system vs. Leonard, it’s the clamp system. While it really good, to fold back each section, you have to either climb into the bed or walk around the truck for each clamp (2 clamps per section). Not a big deal for me as I rarely need to fold back more than just the first one for my needs so far. There has not been ANY water in the bed during a storm, not a single drop! Can’t believe there is this type of quality at this price point, compared to other possible solutions at much higher prices. In my opinion, this is the best solid folding bed cover out there! Would highly recommend!!

Delivery was quick, installation went smoothly, good fit, and a nice seal all around. The light for inside the bed was a nice surprise. My husband is pleased with this addition to his truck.

Product was as advertised, easy installation and rugged. The latches are a great touch making the cover easy to fold up to allow items in the bed of the truck. Very happy with this product.

Pretty easy to install, two people to lift on the truck bed safely!Only problem is I have interference with automatic tail gate drop except that everything is so far so good 😊
