As PES isn't released till November. Is Fifa 15 really worth buying on PS3?

As an ardent PES fan, who had become slightly disheartened with recent incarnations. I thought I would give Fifa 15 a go and was pleasantly surprised, it is no longer the punt and hope arcade game, but now a reasonable simulation of the beautiful game. So in answer to your question yes.

There is the choice to do a season which is you pick a club and play through the whole normal club season and try to win cups. If he has friends over he can use kick off mode to play one off matches against them. There is also a skills section to practice, but besides all these there are now many online game modes and the one you are possibly describing is ultimate team is where you build your own with any player and for that you need internet. However, there is a online and computer season you can play, but to get new players you go onto the transfer market and buy players through other people, otherwise you have to save up a lot of coins to get packs. The other online game modes are the normal online season and then a friendly head to head against friends and then a coop season online against other people with friends.
