Easy care.
Saved me a small fortune against ice cream van prices.

Suck on this ....
Easy to fill and they have a good capacity. Getting them out can be a little tricky and to hold the stick is not easy for little hands.

Impossible to remove
This is made of a brittle plastic material so it’s virtually impossible to remove. I end up melting all 8 lollies just to remove one. It has to be dipped in hot water and banged with a heavy object to get the lolly out. Silicone mould only going forward!

Impossible to release the lolly without defrosting the base
Worked well but once they're frozen, you need to put the whole base into a tub of hot or boiling water for a short while until you can pull them out of their slots. They need releasing from their compartments! You can't release just the flavours you want or a few at a time because you'll be unable to defrost just a selection. They're a good idea, especially when made with fruit juice so the little ones can have a healthy ice lolly but in hindsight, I'd have bought multiple packs of 2 or 4 as opposed to packs of 8.Easy to wash and rinse in bowl or dishwasher

The holding handle very small .Nearly impossible for small children to hold.
Poor design, handle size makes it impossible for children to hold upright.

Not ideal for very young hands
I bought this to try and make ice lollies for my 11 month old son - he's teething, so something cold to soothe his gums could be ideal. The method is easy (although don't fill to the top as the ice expands and spills over). You get, if I remember correctly, about 150ml per section, a decent size for a little lolly. To remove one, half a minute under the warm tap does the trick.Unfortunately for us, the handles are a little small to hold easily for a very young child, and the ice can get a little heavy. This led to him getting tired of holding the plastic, and grabbing the lolly by the ice instead - his hands got very cold very quickly, so we had to spoon feed it to him in the end. This is good value for money and an easy way to make inexpensive treats. Just not ideal for very young hands.
