Rock-Solid System – Completely Transformed My RV Experience
I’ve been running a full Victron setup in my RV since 2021, including the MultiPlus inverter/charger, the SmartSolar 100/30 charge controller, the BMV-712 battery monitor, and the Digital MultiControl panel. After years of use across various climates and conditions, I can confidently say this system has been absolutely rock solid. Each component was easy to install and configure, and the integration between devices is seamless. The MultiPlus handles all of my AC needs flawlessly, switching between shore power, generator, and battery without a hiccup. The SmartSolar charge controller keeps my solar system optimized and running efficiently, even on cloudy days. The BMV-712 gives me precise battery monitoring at a glance, and the MultiControl panel makes managing the inverter simple from inside the RV. What I appreciate most is how this system has given me real freedom. I can boondock for days without stress, knowing exactly how my batteries are doing and trusting that the system will just work. It’s added reliability and convenience that truly changed how I RV. Highly recommend Victron to anyone serious about upgrading their mobile power setup. Worth every penny.

Victron Charge Controllers Are Hard to Beat
In my opinion, Victron charge controllers are some of the best on the market, and they’re still reasonably priced. I bought this 100/30 to replace the Victron 75/15 controller in my RV when I upgraded my solar panels and needed more capacity. These controllers are reliable and simply do what they’re supposed to do. The Victron app makes it easy to adjust settings and monitor the system in real time, including how much solar power you’re collecting and the state of your batteries. I’ve had great results with Victron products, and this controller is no exception. Reliable, easy to monitor, reasonably priced, and a great product all around. Five stars.

Just about the best MID-size MPPT controller out there
Update (2/12/23): Current inventory of VE products: (2) 100V/50A, (2) 100V/30A, (1) 100V/20A, (1) SmartShunt IP67 (newer), (1) SmartShunt (older), (1) BatterySense. Best feature is the VE.Smart networking feature, which allows the components to work together to optimize charging of the battery bank. Update (8/2/22): Ordered a 2nd unit. Working great! iPhone app has many great features. Summary: I have evaluated quite a few MPPT controllers for Vine, and while all were decent, the Victron Energy (VE) has high ratings, so I decided to purchase one for evaluation. My solar/PV system specs: 1000W of panels; 24-volt, 270Ah marine battery bank (Optima); Voltworks 2000W inverter. Using the system to reduce our electricity bill. This review is for the 100V/50A, which is the 2nd VE controller I've purchased. Observations: The first thing to notice is that this one, unlike most others, does not have a control panel (just three LEDs); which means you'll need a smart device to read the values. There are two basic VE offerings: this SmartSolar (built-in bluetooth), and BlueSolar (requires a BT dongle). Between the two, I went with the built-in BT (SmartSolar). One great feature of the VE system, is that it allows the MPPTs to communicate with each other via BT; which is a great feature for a larger system. Recommendations: One reason to choose the lower cost BlueSolar over the SmartSolar, is if you do not need the additional features that the BT brings; but for me, I didn't mind spending the extra $30-40 (per controller) to gain those features. Pros: Industrial quality & features; good application support (firmware updated upon first connect); security (bluetooth); good/efficient charging algorithm; good data and graphs. Cons: No built-in display (offset by the much better app and graphs). Conclusion: At $225, rating this 5-stars. Of all the MPPT controllers I have reviewed, Victron is the recommended brand. Excellent
I think among MPPTs these are the best available charge controllers, and they work well in the Victron "ecosystem". I had several of these and all worked well with no issues. The bluetooth is very reliable and I never had any connection problem. It also participates in an inter-device network between the smart shunt and a Cerbo that I have. Not sure if it does anything, but ok. It works with any kind of batteries but specifically good for Lithium. Just size it right for your system, as they get bigger and pricier with more power. My current recommendation for a smaller DIY system is to get a 24/12 Volt one, it gives sufficient room for modification, unless you want to go for a 48V. The Voltage and Amps (the first and the second number in the model) should be sized for your panel configuration. For example, a 6x100V panels configured as 3 in series and then parallel may produce over 600W of power on a sunny day, with 60+V and close to 10A, something that a 100 /50 controller will handle easily, and it can be a 100/30 as well. I recommend these.

Best MPPT
Well worth the money for the MPPT controller. Helps with the solar charging and the power output. Nice and small to fit into the tight setup. Durable device as it it a bit heavy.

A Top product at a competitive Price. 12/24volt; Bluetooth builtin; Data & control software.
I just hooked up a Victron SmartSolar Charge Controller MMPT 100/30 to my 12v solar panel system. I'm testing this unit and will use it to upgrade my system to 24 volts. The first thing I notice is the weight: Solid construction. The 100/30 can handle either a 12 volt or 24 volt system - it's rated at 440 watts for a 12v sys & 880 watts for a 24v system. In 12v battery mode you can use 12v panels in parallel or two 12v in series for 24v and then in parallel. In 24 volt mode the panels output must exceed the battery volts so... the first time it's used it sets itself to the battery voltage, after that you use the software to configure the voltage. I have the Victron App on my phone as i use the Smartshunt - 500A w/Bluetooth module. Once plugged in the SmartSolar charge controller shows up in the App and gives all the data you need to stay on top of things. The Victron wireports easily take the #10 AWG (30amp rated) wire ; which is the correct size for a 30 amp rated controller; AND has Big Fat Flathead Screws to clamp down on those wires. Compare that to a mid-price item like Renogy; their wireport just fits a #10 wire, and the screws are tiny phillips heads that are hard to get a bite on... or a WERCHTAY 60amp (sure) controller that can barely fit a 12AWG (20amp). Victron seems to have dropped their prices; I always thought they were way too expensive for me, but now for the price of an intermediate tier product you go Top Tier: The Smartsolar MMPT 100/30 is priced about the same as a Renogy product and already has Bluetooth; Renogy wants another $30 for a Bluetooth dongale. All in all a solid product with good data software: it supports iPad, and my Android phone. It has many support products.

Works great, feels solid
I really like the app interface for this guy. Pretty clean and straight forward. None of that bs pop advertising stuff. Works good. Build quality feels solid. Note: When it shows how many kwh you are getting from the solar panels, it's only measuring what it's putting out into the batter. Not what's actually coming off the panels. That can kinda mess with your metrics a little bit.

Great product you won't regret it.
These charge controllers are awesome. I'm using 4 of them currently with the bmv712 shunt monitor and I love that they all connect via Bluetooth and share data. I love that the chargers synchronize to work with each other. The ability to check on your system and set your charge parameters from your phone is definitely worth it. The MPPT tracking is fast. Their efficiency is phenomenal. Being able to use the VE port as a relay controller rather than "load" terminals is preferred in my opinion for dump load options. However the app isn't as polished as the controllers themselves. Sometimes the Bluetooth is laggy and glitches. I wish the app showed a little more useful data that it is capable of showing, but it doesn't because if you buy all victron stuff a different product will show you. For example "power being used". If the shunt monitor is showing how much power is going into the batteries and the charge controllers show your total network power, you can simply subtract the total power from battery power to show power consumption. What's annoying is you must first select the charge controller, then it connects via Bluetooth to one single controller. You can only monitor one single device via Bluetooth at a time. It takes 10-30 seconds each time you select a device. This makes it difficult to compare data manually. Sure it shows your average discharge and deepest discharge, but if you don't check right before the sun comes up, there's no way to see what you used last night. No way to see how much power you used that day, week, etc... once again you could do it all manually. The app should just have a system overview showing all the data available and atleast a months worth of history. Or have the app store some data on your phone and synchronize every couple hours if your within range. I realize if you buy a Victron brand inverter or some other fancy expensive data logger it shows a lot of this data. I did not though. It's annoying when it is capable of showing data, but to really be able to use these devices to their potential you need to buy all Victron... I wish the programs for the relay function were a little more flexible. Great for most situations, but not the best. Maybe add some time delay options? Select sun up/down triggers along with voltage triggers. Temperature triggers would also be cool too. There stuff is good, but a some extra lines of code is all you need to make this stuff a little more friendly for the experimenters or budget conscious DIYers.

Rekommenderas starkt.

Top-Produkt – klare Kaufempfehlung!
