I've used this thing to find alot of stuff, pounds of stuff to be honest. I am definitely an amateur detectorist, but this has been great to get in small areas and get to what made the noise.I have a cheap single frequency detector and this does apparently run on the same frequency or close enough to cause interference, so 1 detector on at a time, not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

I was actually surprised that this worked so well. My horse threw a shoe (Kicked off his horse shoe) somewhere in his stall, which is covered in pine shavings. I tried to find it to no avail. So I ordered this and received it the next morning. Upon looking for it, I had uncovered some buried rebar that could have one day injured my big guy. I had also found a jagged pipe just under the surface. Then alas, I found it. The shoe still had the nails in it, which could have hurt my horse had I not found it.

Display fogged with moisture.Battery compartment had water intrusion even when sealed as far as it could be tightened.

I LOVE this thing. It is incredibly easy to use, the pin pointer is very accurate. I have used it for a couple days now and the battery is still full. The price was spot on. It is a perfect pair with the metal detector I got. The shovel was a nice bonus, however, it bent the first couple times I used it. To be fair, I live in a colder climate were the ground is frozen more than half the year. All in all I would highly recommend.

Received the unit. Even comes with battery. We use this to pin point the small objects in the dug up pile. Seems to work well even finding small piece of wire fencing that had been cut to lengths shorter than 1/×" or 12mm. Finding wire was not the intent. Still working after 3 months of part time use.

It does not detect white gold jewelry as that was the reason I bought this.. but it definitely detects nails, scrap metal, electrical wires. I will be returning this.
