I've owned many flashlights, this is my third NEBO with my other two being the 90 degree smaller versions of this same flashlight. One of those died prematurely, but the other is still hanging in there. This flashlight arrived in a very nice box, the flashlight itself was described as other reviews have already made clear. I was impressed with the thumb switch that selects the light functions, the light will dim slightly and transition from spot light, to flood to red with a soft dimming effect which is very pleasant. The trigger switch feel very padded and strong, with grip to work with gloves on or with wet hands. The aluminum on the body of the light is nice, but not necessary. Like Streamlight, the all plastic body option does not exude cheapness, not when it feels heavy duty as this light does.The light modes are bright just like the demo video! I almost wish I could dim it a little, although switching from spot to flood does help cut down the brightness, but some ability to step down would be appreciated, even if one step on each setting.The usb charging cable as described is not a typical USB C you cannot use any other USB C cable, it will not work for some reason, you must use the one provided. I put it inside my truck and that is the only one I will use, but if you want to travel with this, don't forget to bring that cable.Proprietary battery kind of concerns me a little in the future, if this thing lasts 4 years, I hope the batter is right there with it, and that NEBO is still around to sell me a replacement. That is a concern with longevity.There is a small complaint about the plastic at the bottom of the handle where the rubber ends, it is too sharp on both sides, and you can feel it on your pinky finger as it rubs against this area. The mold could have been more rounded at that spot, it would increase the desirability of the overall design. Also, the hinge to the battery door on the very bottom of the flashlight, if it falls and lands on that precise spot, the hinge will drop the battery out. Not happy about that weak point. The last weak point is the balance of the light, if you put it on a table, or say on the ground while pointing the light at your work, it is a bit tippy, more than I would expect. I think this is why they reduced the size of the lens from a parallel model.I just got the light, I can't wait to get years of use out of it! Don't hesitate to buy this very high end light with a few flaws, worth a try.

I chose this model because of the three light functions, spot, flood and red. Great mode selection dial. Love that you can operate with cord connected.

This is a killer spot light, amazing flood light and a red flood light all in one. It sits up right and has two strong magnets on the bottom. This light has a lock-out mode, I really like this. This is probably my favorite Nebo light out of 25+ nebos in my collection.

If your job calls you out into the night to fix things while mere mortals sleep, this is the flashlight you need. And if you have the opportunity to buy a gift for such a person, this is an excellent choice.Your first thought might be that it's kind of pricey for a 500-lumen flashlight. It may not be the brightest light in the toolbox, but it is packed with features that make it a worker's best friend. It has strong magnets in the base, allowing you to place it firmly on any type of metal surface. The on-off switch is a latching trigger that is placed comfortably under your index finger when you grip the flashlight. Without moving your hand at all, you find the thumbwheel perfectly placed to transform the light from tight spotlight to a wide floodlight, then finally to a red light that comes in handy when you want to retain your night vision.There are multiple spots built into the design you can use to hang the light or attach it to a backpack or toolbelt. The top features a tripod mount, something I've never encountered in a flashlight. It's waterproof and rechargeable. It has a nice heft to it compliments of the high-quality aluminum body.My only beef with this pro flashlight is that if it isn't parked on a metal surface, it tends to topple over a little too easily. For example, I was using it to work on my PC under the desk and the slightest touch seemed to push it over. But with the multiple attachment options, this is a minor inconvenience.I'm extremely pleased with the light, and it's become a permanent addition to my everyday tools. The quality of the light and the superb packaging also make this a gift you'll be excited to give.

What a great flashlight! This thing is built extremely high quality and built to last and take a beating for sure. It is absolutely bright on flashlight mode and flood mode. It is great to be able to clip it onto your belt or tool belt. It has an extremely strong magnet on the bottom that you can magnetize it to whatever you need to direct it on your work. The magnet is very strong so you don't have to worry about it coming loose and falling off or anything like that. It charges within a few hours from dead. I've used it now for over 4 hours and it still has a charge. I can't comment on how long the battery lasts because it is not died on me yet. I love that you have the ability to have a normal directed flashlight mode. Then you have the flood light mode to brighten up a large area for your work zone. It also has a red light mode which is nice if your using it in an area that's dark and you don't want to be super noticeable. For example, at night time in a vehicle that you need to write information down it’s nice to have that red option.Overall, I think this work flashlight is built super tough and will last years. I believe it is absolutely worth its price point. I also believe if this fits your desires and needs that you will not be let down by this flashlight.
