Part 3 and 4
I was disappointed in parts 3 and 4 of this series. It was not as energetic or charismatic as the firt two.** Spoiler Alert **I watched the movie before reading the books and I have to say (and I've never ever said this before) the movie was better than the book. In the movie I liked Vilma and loved the storyline, I liked having a bad guy other than Lucifer. In the books I found Vilma weak and unnecessary baggage for Aaron and I had hoped that Lahesh would shoot her or that Aaron would have to kill her. I didn't buy the love story part at all and I didn't feel Aaron's emotions for her. I found it difficult to read through the parts when the author was forcing the love story and having Aaron abandon his mission and putting Aerie in danger for Vilma. I just didn't buy it and it just made me mad. I also regret that the author did not bring the angel Gabriel back to assist Aaron after Aaron saved him, I kept waiting for Gabriel to make another appearance and was deeply disappointed when he didn't. Another disappointment was how easily Verchiel bested the Malakims, I didn't find that believable either and nor did I buy that not a single one of the Powers left him due to his mental unstability, especially when he started undoing the Word of God. I was kindof hoping that Lucifer would find forgiveness and the punishment for Verchiel would be to take Lucifer's place as "the Devil" I would have bought that and forgiven the Vilma portions that I disliked so much. All that said, I did enjoy the books and it was worth the read. I read all 4 parts in two days.

Rating the condition of the book
Like my title says, my rating has nothing to do with the story or writing, but the physical condition of what was considered to be a "good" condition for a used book. There were stains on the pages, the cover was torn and frayed. It was disgusting.

Likeable though a little on the cheesy side
Book two picks up right where book one finishes. Character development was ok, including the dog, who plays a prominent role in comic relief. Would have liked to seen a little more background on the main bad guy and why he is the way he is. Who was he before coming to earth, whose side did he end up on in the Great Battle? It is obvious that he has become worse than his greatest enemy (Lucifer)...yet, I am not sure that the written character developed well enough to justifyably get to that point.

Great Series
honestly i thought this would be the last book for Aaron but it seems he still has more to do. i love stories that deal with angels being a reality. THE FALLEN doesnt disappoint me. There was however, a very Random character death that caught me completely off guard and it brought teas to my eyes. This is a great series to pick up for teens and young adults. I wouldnt have younger kid's read these because there is some mild language. my only down side... i have this black marker streak along the outside edges of the pages. i hate for my books to be "disfigured" but it doesnt take away from the book itself.

Addicting and Captivating like Harry Potter. No Joke.
I loved the first book but this.... this series is just amazing. I love the fact that all of the characters have different sides to them that are shown throughout these books. The main villain truly believes what he is doing is the right thing, rather than just being bad for the sake of being bad. Even the hero has his darker side. To sum it up, Fallen and Aerie is amazing. I highly recommend it if you loved the characters in Harry Potter because their personalities and even flaws were well developed. I have pre-ordered The End of Days already. I wish I could give this book ten stars because it doesn't deserve only five.

Great Series
Aaron is training hard to fight the evil powers. Unfortunately the power leader has captured the girl Aaron likes, and his younger brother. When he realizes that the powers leader has been torturing his girlfriend Aaron goes to her rescue only to discover something that has the power to crush and kill him in a single sweep. The Fallen series are extremely well written. It is very easy to lose yourself between the pages and feel for the characters. After I bought this book I couldn't wait to start reading, and when I finally did I couldn't put the it down.

Fun Read with lots of thinkning
These books are written on levels. You can enjoy them for just the story, or you can read them for the deeper meanings also. The author knows how to write a story that engages an audience. His knowledge of the history of angles impressive and he captures their alien-ness from humanity quite well.My tween son and I have both enjoyed reading all four of The Fallen books this summer. I am so glad to see them back in print and will be donating our copies to our middle school library for others to enjoy after we are finished.

Better than the first
After reading the first book, I wasn't a fan and was hoping that the second book would be better. And it totally was! As I kept on reading, I wanted to read more to see what would happen. The beginning was slow but the more you read, the more it got better and interesting. There was some parts, like in the first book, that got me confused. All-in-all, it was a good book.

Cracking Conclusion.
I loved the 2nd book in this series, if you havent read it yet then here is the link:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fallen-Leviathan-Thomas-Sniegoski/dp/1442408626/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_2The book follows on immediately from where book 1 ended and the storyline continues in its fast paced movements.I found it thoroughly entertaining, gripping, and at sometimes a little scary with all the big battles that rage on between the Angels and the Nephilim.Very well written and i was blissfully disappointed that there will not be another one after this. However the book does come to a very satisfying conclusion in the end, but i do feel there is more story to tell.Btw, if you happened to see the tv series before you read the books, please dont take any notice, that show was AWFUL and Verchiel is a man, a very bad man as it happens so please give the books a shot, you wont regret it !!

Was also sollte noch kommen?
