can ths press thicker items like plush toys

I have been using it on toys my self this week it doesn't close completely but if you just pull it down as far as you can and hold it there for 20 seconds it works

Indeed it can .... I use a Roland Stika vinyl plotter/cutter and the vinyl is fine under the heat press. I would recommend testing before use to make sure you get the time/temp bang on, but the press is so easy to use. You will have it perfected in no time!

Would this press be suitable for transferring digital images onto veg tan leather?

Hi Martin, it depends media you use rather than the press. Leather is notoriously hard to print on so I understand you'd have to use the hottest settings. It will hit the temperatures you need it to hit mind if you doing ipad covers or wallets etc
