I bought this in an effort to get up to speed with video conferencing at home during lockdown. I have previously bought a webcam with a microphone for my tvpc. The camera works fine but because the microphone is a metre and a half away it does not pick up my voice well. I needed a dedicated microphone that would sit nearer to me. The reviews and description sounded excellent, quality materials and quality product. The microphone lives up to it's reviews. The stand is strong and sturdy and a good weight to stay in place. It looks good, the flexible stem is excellent quality, it feels strong and moves around to get the best possible positioning for the microphone. When I tested it during my next online meeting, attendees could pick up my voice clearly. My only problem is that the lead is only 1.5 metres long. More than enough for a desktop but because I am using it for my TV it gives me just enough rope but nothing to spare. I knew this when I bought it but the reviews were so good this was the obvious choice. It lives up to it's reputation. The company has a mission statement about building high quality products at affordable prices. They seem a new start up. I was so pleased with the product and the company's ethos I found myself looking at their other products even though I did not need any. Even if my broadband is a little slow and my processor heats up during video conferencing, at least my voice sounds clear!

Nicely built, works very well, especially good given the reasonable price. The sound I am told is a little "roomy" or hollow. Not sure myself, but decided to by a well known high quality studio microphone instead.

The KLIM Tabletop microphone is surprisingly good - I have been using it for doing voice-overs for teaching videos, and I like it as much as one that costs three times more. Windows recognised it as soon as I plugged it into a USB port and it was ready to use immediately. I was able to control the recording level using the Windows mixer and it worked well with my recording software. It gave my voice a good, rich sound whilst rejecting unwanted noise from my computer fan. Breathing sounds were well-controlled. A good professional result - I am delighted with it and can recommend it for voice recording.

Needed an external microphone due to the fact the latest Macbook inbuilt mic turns off when the lid is closed - very annoying. Like the idea of having a button to turn it on and off so went for the KLIM Talk. Sound quality is superb (according to those on the other end). It looks pretty sleek next to the monitor and isn't obtrusive as the mic can be angled any direction. One thing to be aware of is the echo that can be present with external speakers positioned close by. This can be overcome by turning the speaker volume down or switching the mic off when the other person speaks. Otherwise no issues and very pleased with my purchase.

I'm so pleased I brought this mic, with so much Zoom type business now the sound quality is great so I'm told really clear with very little background noise. The mute button is brilliant and very clear red led when the mic is live. Installation as so simple just find a spare USB port, wait a few seconds while Windows sorted the drive (standard in Windows) and it all worked.

As far as Excel went, it did not! I was unable to enter numbers in any cell. In Word there is an icon for turning on dictate but I could find no such icon in excel. Word works reasonably well, although it can be very hit and miss and you must check everything very closely.

I used a dell mid-range laptop where I do MS teams call almost everyday. I've been using laptop mic for all my calls. I didn't have a problem with laptop mic, but I wanted to improve the quality of my mic to studio quality, so that I am heard much better in calls and recordings. KLIM mic was slightly better than my existing laptop mic, I tested it with few tools and compared audio quality. This is based on the first few tries, so I will update my review after ~30 days if its different from now.

Great easy to install and works so easily

Ich mache aus diversen Gründen derzeit extrem viel im Homeoffice. Dabei habe ich teilweise mehrstündige Workshops via Teams. Wenn ich den ganzen Tag mit dem Headset auf dem Kopf vor dem Rechner sitze, ist das Absetzen eine absolute Wohltat. Dabei brauche ich das Headset nur für das Mikrofon; Hören kann ich meine Gesprächspartner auch über den Laptop. Mittlerweile nutzen viele Kollegen - aus den o.g. Gründen - das Mikro im Laptop. Allerdings klingt das fast immer furchtbar; Es hallt, die Stimme ist zu leise und man muss sich teilweise sehr konzentrieren, das Gegenüber zu verstehen. Manchmal hört man auch den Lüfter vom Rechner extrem laut. Dieses Mikro ist ein typisches Konferenzmikro. Nach dem Anschließen wird es sofort erkannt. Es verfügt über eine Nierencharakteristik. Das bedeutet, dass Geräusche, die hinter dem Mikro entstehen, ausgeblendet werden. Es kommt somit auch weniger Hall an. Mit dem Knopf am Sockel wird das Mikro an- oder ausgemacht. Leuchtet die LED rot, wird man gehört. Es reicht, wenn man das Mikro hinter die Tastatur stellt, man muss also nicht mit dem Mund zum Mikro gehen, die Empfindlichkeit reicht locker aus, um aus 30-40 cm draufzusprechen. Nach den ersten Meetings kann ich sagen: Es ist wie Urlaub. Du hast nicht mehr das Headset den ganzen Tag auf dem Kopf und wirst trotzdem sehr gut verstanden. Meine Empfehlung!

It would be hard not to be pleased with the Klim Talk Tabletop Microphone. I Just had to plug it into a USB port and it was ready to go. I find the On/Off switch on the base very handy. It also is great to have the Red LED showing the mic is on. As far as how the Mic works? The quality of the sound will blow you away. To finish, this Klim Talk show me allot about the company. They have hit the targets! A Product that works and sounds great, a quality made product that is also very stylish, and at a very reasonable price! Thank you Klim for thinking about consumers. Innanzitutto devo fare un plauso a Amazon poiché, come sempre, i prodotti gestiti direttamente per quanto riguarda la consegna viaggino sempre in perfetto orario e vengono consegnati in perfette condizioni. Riguardo al microfono, c'è da dire che è perfetto per gli scopi per cui è stato acquistato. Per dimensioni e stabilità della base si integra perfettamente nell'ambiente di lavoro a mia disposizione e il cavo di collegamento alla porta USB del PC (è dotato di una presa USB - A) è sufficientemente lungo da arrivare comodamente alla porta USB libera sul rear del case. Nessun problema hardware per quanto riguarda il riconoscimento da parte del mio s.o. (windows 10pro versione 22H2), nessun problema software per quanto riguarda l'utilizzo per il quale è stato acquistato (uso con accordatore per chitarra installato sul PC). Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto e può rivelarsi una ottima alternativa ai microfonini incorporati in cuffie (o webcam) per l'impiego in videoconferenze/video chat. Dal punto di vista costruttivo, infine, pur essendo al 90% plastica (tranne il braccino snodabile) i materiali sembrano ad una prima impressione di qualità decente, robusti e resistenti (ovviamente come tutti i prodotti informatici sono delicati e non devono essere strapazzati!)

Was really impressed by this microphone straight out of the box. The packaging itself was really good and felt like I was unboxing a premium item. The build quality is surprisingly good- it has a nice weight to it so that it doesn't move around the desk with accidental bumps. It also has rubber-like pads on the bottom to help stop it from movement. While it looks all plastic in the images, the base of the microphone is a really nice matte rubber material which gives it a premium feel. Most importantly however, and what most people probably care about is the microphone quality. Its amazing for something so cheap. I have been using it to record singing in audacity and I can hear no static noise whatsoever in the background. Voice can be heard clearly and sounds very good. Highly recommend purchasing this.
