MediTeddi was very helpful with my mother’s medication compliance! The warm and personable teddy bear served very pleasant reminders of the times when the medications needed to be taken and she enjoyed that! It was almost like someone else was in the room who was helping her with her medications! Mom lives alone and MediTeddi has a very warm presence.

We bought this for our 83 year old mother and she loves interacting with Teddi and showing it off to her friends and fellow seniors. She says Teddi is a great reminder for taking her twice-daily medications. She thinks it is "ingenious" and recommends it for anyone who takes scheduled medications. We certainly agree with her!

I'm a busy mom and I admittedly have a hard time with my memory when it comes to what I need to do for myself. That can make it hard for me to remember to not only take my medicine, but also take it on time. This device intrigued me. I think its so adorable and the bear appears to be great quality. It reminds me of Build A Bear quality. That in and of itself makes the price...almost worth it. I'm just not entirely sure the technology and customizations makes it completely worth it. You can adjust the volume to medium or loud via a switch in the back of the bear. It does come with a charging cord and gives you access to your past statistics. The MediTeddi is cute and says a few cute little positive statements but it might feel a little too corny for some people and I think it would be nice to choose the positive things or sayings it says. Possibly even saying the patients name would be awesome. I know my kids had a leapfrog bear that you could customize with different voices and personalizing it by having it say the childs name. Other customizations that I think would make this more marketable is if there was better customization such as changing the voice (male or female) or customizing sayings. Some more suggestions to make MediTeddi personalized for each user is reminding the patient to do other health related things such as eat, drink, shower, drink water etc. I think this has great potential but, again I think it would be more marketable if it was a little more customizable for the caregiver or person using it. I do love my MediTeddi and will continue using it, but I would just love the ability to customize more before recommending it to everyone with the price tag it has.

My oldest kid has a few meds they take at different times, and they're super excited to have this bear as a reminder (instead of my constant badgering and alarms); aside from reminding, it's plush presence alone is comforting to have around!The bear came pre charged, and was super easy to get running using the single switch in the back. The charging port is USB mini (USB C would be preferred, but it's at least better than USB micro) and the cord is a generous length - but does need a USB port or adapter as none is included. Instructions are included, but its not overly complicated, and will basically explain how it works when turned on.The bear itself is normal size, and is soft enough despite the big plastic box inside; The fur isn't super long and should be easy to wash off if needed. Seniors would find this just as easy to use of course, and I can see it being extra useful for those with memory issues.The price is probably the biggest drawback... the tech is years old, and could easily be accomplished with modern components for a few dollars (possibly even less at scale). If the price doesn't scare you away though, this is a nice cuddly addition to your daily regimen!

This is a beautiful teddy bear!This is a great way to remind one to take medication.The bear is snuggly and soft.It is simple to set up and use.My mother loves this bear.It creates a visual and a routine.It has definitely helped her remember and above all look forward to taking her medication.I do think it's a little high in price at $99, but the bear is great quality and it's worth the cause.

I picked this up for my step dad to get him to remember to take his pills. However he takes them more than twice a day. I wish this was customizable with times and number or reminders. Whenever you turn this bear on: That is considered the morning reminder. Then 10 hours later is asks you if you took your night pills. I wish they had a 12 hour option for this. I take my pills at 9am and 9pm because they need to be taken 12 hours apart. In order for this to function after my pills have been taken, I had to turn on the teddy at 11:30am and the other reminder is then at 9:30pm. I removed 2 stars for these things, but it is a great reminder bear overall. With a few small tweaks, this could be great!

We ordered this bear for my dad, who's getting on in years and starting to forget the small stuff. First, it's a beautiful bear. My daughter wanted it for herself when she saw it. Second, it's a neat way of reminding older or forgetful people to take their medicine on time. Whenever I try to remind my dad, he gets offended, but he seem fine when the bear does it. The bear actually records the answers and keep tabs on whether a yes or no response occurred. The electronic unit comes with its own battery and charging cable. It's very easy to unplug and remove for cleaning.
