Dritz Suede Cowhide Elbow Patches 4-3/4-inch x 6-5/8-inch 2/Pkg-Dark Brown

These suede patches gave my husbands sweater a new lease on life! There are holes round the outside to aid in stitching them on. I recommend a leather needle to get the job done easily, though I accomplished it with a regular needle.

Simple product and as long as you have them sewn on properly...the jacket will see a few more years of service

Nice suede and have used it with Velcro glue to fix small pieces onto ballroom dance shoe heels to stop them skidding and reduce wear. Will see how they perform in use but we should get lots out of this pair! They feel both soft and strong so they'd be pretty good as elbow patch too I imagine. ;)

I really liked the quality of the patches and they were perfect for fixing my 54 year old teddy bear's paws - I know quite random.However, when taking off the cardboard label and removing the staple it was hiding a tear in the actual patch. The photo isn't very clear but I made using the patch a bit more tricky for the paw coverings.If it was indeed to be used as an elbow patch it would have had to have been returned. Not sure how such a flaw made it through the system.Patches were good but would have been great without the tear. Bit disappointing.

Used it to put on the elbows of a knitted jumper. I use the jumper frequently for desk work, and now the elbows are completely protected. They feel very solid.

Excellent product. I'm always tearing the knees out of my trousers climbing over barbed wire fencing and have these on a couple of pairs of expensive water proof shooting trousers, saved buying new ones.

I buy these patches for my sweaters. I’m always busting a whole in the elbows of my shirts and sweaters. Most of my sweaters now have a patch from this brand, and after years of wear they still look good.The leather is soft but very sturdy.My one tip would be to have it sown twice: once in the provided holes and the second time directly on the perimeter/edge. That way you’ll avoid a little loose lip that flips up. I’m a perfectionist so that little bit of extra annoys me.

Usé estos parches para el suéter de cachemir de mi esposo, todavía bonito pero arruinado en los codos; el resultado final fue excelente, el efecto fue muy agradable; los parches tienen pequeños agujeros para poder coserlos, los cosí a mano con un poco de esfuerzo porque no siempre se hacían bien los agujeros

The product itself looks of ok quality but was delivered stapled to the packaging, resulting in the patches having holes in them. Will be returning
