Looking forward to some home grown lettuce and herbs!
I've just learned about the world of hydroponics, and am still learning. This Hydroponics Growing System is the perfect size to get me started. It has a small footprint, but from my research, it is capable of growing quite a bit of fresh food. I plan to try growing herbs, as well as a couple of lettuce pods.It is really easy to assemble, and it runs quiet. I just tried it with water, but it is so neat that you can grow food in such a small area. Because it will just be for me, I think I will be able to enjoy many nice salads in a fairly short period of time. This system seems to be very well designed, the pole is sturdy, and it is a great starter kit. It comes with all you need to get started, other than seeds. And, they were kind enough to include double the amount of sponges, so you can have a second grow. I really love this system, and can't wait to get my heirloom seeds in the mail, so I can get started. I would absolutely recommend it!

Too soon to rate
The media could not be loaded. Haven’t harvested yet but soon. I’m going to have some arugula in a few days. I’m wondering what I’m going to do about the tomatoes and strawberries because as I understand it, we need some bees to do some pollenization. I think I can use Q-tips and cross pollinate that way. But I’ve never done it before so I’m not sure what I’m in for, but I’ll run my search engine on it. But I’m pretty happy with it right now. This is my second hydroponic planter. The first one only held three plants but I got some great herbs, basil, dill, and parsley. All three are doing very well especially the basil, it’s going crazy. I’m not so sure about the dill, which seems to have gone into a phase of under producing after a good initial showing. After using the other different brand hydroponic system, I didn’t even need to read the instructions to put this one together. I was a bit concerned that I might’ve done something wrong but everything seems to be proceeding on schedule and in very good shape but that’s how easy it was to put together, at least for me.

Extremely happy with this garden and the company
This is my first hydroponic garden and I couldn’t be happier with it. I realized that the pump wasn’t working so I messaged the company through Amazon and they sent me a replacement as soon as they could. This was an extremely easy product to put together and to get started. You do have to use your own seeds. I am growing Little Gem lettuce, Tiny Tim tomatoes and bell pepper plants and they are thriving. I can’t wait for my first harvest. This is definitely a great product and I would recommend it.

Kept turning off at first/ stays on pretty good now
I've had this for 2 days. The lights turn on and pump works for anywhere from 15 minutes to 3-4 hours but inevitably the machine beeps and turns off. I thought it was supposed to stay on for 16 hours. I am having to turn it back on over and over again throughout the day. Otherwise, it's cute and I love it. 3 of my pods already have seedings in them. I plan to transplant the cherry tomato into a bigger container/ containers.Update, I'm increasing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. I took the electrical attachments(two areas) apart and put back together again and plugged it in and so far (2days) it has stopped shutting off on its own so it must just have not been together quite right. All my pods are growing well. I'm excited to keep learning more about hydroponics.Update: I'm 2 weeks in now. The machine stopped shutting itself off for a few days but now it is back to having to be turned back on several times a day. I've tried taking the two connections apart and putting back together multiple times. It sometimes helps for a bit. Marked my review back down to 2 stars. I like the product. Really cute idea but just doesn't stay on like it should.Update: I've had it for 8 weeks and increasing my review to 4 stars. The lights started working again. They occasionally shut off at weird times but I just turn it back on. I'm loving it. I've had two large salads and almost ready for a 3rd. I did run out of the liquid fertilizers that came with it but found that aerogarden/miracle grow makes a liter size that only needs 11ml/gallon and it really helps my plants grow well and is only 1 fertilizer instead of having to add 2 different ones.

Easy and it works.
Easy to use and we are actually growing herbs without killing them. In the past we have had the Midas touch but in reverse, every plant we touch dies but with this grow system we are not murdering greens. Everything you need is included except the seeds, which was fine because it gave us a chance to order exactly the herb seeds that we wanted to grow. Make sure you order seeds that are for indoor grow machines it will make a difference. Use the included straws to drop 4 or 5 seeds in the grow sponges, set in the machine, fill with water, program if you want fruit or vegetable and you’re good to go. You don’t have to add water very often just keep an eye on the water level and fill when needed, great product!

Poor Quality
I have had my Qyo for almost two months now. I bought it because I liked that it has a large growth height (for tomatoes and peppers) and 14 grow spaces, 15 if you don’t use the water level indicator and that it keeps track of your growth days. Nothing works on this like it’s suppose to or the way they say it’s suppose to. First, the lights are suppose to be on for 16 hours and off for eight. Mine has never run that time at all. It sets it’s own hours and it’s different all the time. Right now, it’s going off at 11pm and it turns back on at 4am, sometimes 3am. There is no way to shut just the lights off without shutting off the whole unit, which of course shuts the pump off and messes up the day count too, (There is no way to adjust the day counter). So right now I am turning the unit off myself at bedtime and turning it back on myself in the morning. The day counter is useless. The app is just there to look pretty and like you have something high tech, which you don’t. It really doesn’t do anything. The pump is very weak. It barely moves the water around. If you take the cover off where you fill it, you can’t tell whether the pump is running or not. Yes, it is quiet but that is because the pump is weak. Germination is very slow in this unit. The only thing I’ve gotten out of it yet are two radishes. I would not recommend this unit.
