MasterClass Large Roasting Rack, Stainless Steel, 32 x 23.5 x 8cm, Metallic, Argentée

Excellent quality, very robust and exactly as described 'on the tin'. Furthermore, good value for money.

My old roasting rack was chromed and starting to show signs of rust. This rack is much chunkier and a perfect fit for my Le Creuset roasting dish. I put around 1 cm of water in the dish, then add the rack topped with foods such as bacon, sausages, chops and kebabs so that I can cook them in the oven. (This strategy seems to minimise the smells left over days after I've consumed food that I may otherwise have fried or grilled.) I leave the roasting dish, still containing the roasting rack, to soak whilst I eat dinner and then both seem to be pretty easy to clean. I don't actually think this does a better job than the old roasting rack but I do think that it will last a lot longer.

Excellent quality, being stainless steel it washes up without rusting, the handles make it easy to move the meat in and out of the tray. Nice thick bars so they don't warp in a hot oven.

Perfect for chicken joints of meat. Fish vegetables. I use this all the time. Easy to clean. Just the right size. Again very solidly built I suspect this will last for a very long time. I impressed and have no problem recommending it. Perfect for family use.

This rack is very sturdy, much stronger than the usual racks that come with grill pans etc. The size is ideal and fits inside our Pirex glas dishes as well as our metal pans. The handles at each end mean that it can be used either way up without whatever you are cooking swimming in their own juices or fat, so the cooking is healthier and tastier. Very easy to clean but not dishwasher proof apparently (not tried)

Well made and works just as expected . Have washed by hand as recommended.

I recently purchased a quality 34x24cm roasting pan & was hoping to use my existing rack with the pan but although the size was pretty much perfect the design meant I was unable to use it safely. I decided to purchase a new rack but found this wasn’t the easiest to do as most racks were either the wrong size or design or just not robust enough for what I required. I eventually decided on the 23x16.5cm rack which looked sturdy & I knew would fit in my pan with the added bonus that it could be used stood either way up. When the rack arrived it was a previous reviews had mentioned a slightly different design to that shown the picture with the legs being on the outer edge’s of the rack instead of the inside as shown. This for me was actually helpful as it meant the rack is about 1cm longer, it also lends itself to easier cleaning because of this. Ideally I would have liked the rack to have been 2cm longer & 1cm wider which would have been a perfect fit but even so I found for me it to be really well made & the design that arrived to be even better than what the photo had promised for my needs, this may cause some people problems if they need the original design to fit their roaster. I was actually pleasantly surprised how big a joint of meant I could get on the rack but if you are looking to roast joints for 6 or more people I’d suggest this rack probably isn’t up to the task.
