Brilliant straighteners
The media could not be loaded. These are brilliant straighteners. Just one glide down a section of hair straightened it so good. No snagging and glided perfectly down my hair. The straighteners did feel a little bulkier to hold than my other ones but in time I wouldn’t notice this. They heat up quickly and the temperature can be changed to different levels. Very easy to select the temperature you require and there is a guide included for which level matches which temperature. These were so effective and quick to use. They seemed to be gentle on my hair, straightening so well meant less passes over the same piece of hair. My hair felt good after use. Good value for the quality of these straighteners. They also have a long lead which made it easier to reach to where my mirror stood and styling the back of my hair

Stopped working
Spent £117 buying these straightners as a present for my wife's birthday but 6 weeks later they stopped working. Return time is 30 days and no way to contact anyone regarding these. Don't waste your money.

T3 professional hair straighteners
These are T3 hair straighteners with several different temperatures.I’ve never heard of the brand but when I checked up there’s several of the subscription companies that are selling the T3 products so they must be good enough to stand up to the competition. So I’m surprised the box is so flimsy for the price and it has a cheap plastic tray inside it wasn’t what I was expecting at all.The straighteners have floating plates which I always look for.It has an automatic cut off if you go out and leave it on.The controls are just one button and lights that don’t have any markings on. You need to remember which temperature each light is. I only use the coolest setting anyway as I have thin hair.It straightened my hair really well and I was pleased with the finished results. Somedays I like to use the straighteners to curls my hair and that was possible with these too.The plastic and build quality is good and they were comfortable to hold.Overall I think the straighteners are a bit basic in function and the box too flimsy for the price tag. It didn’t shout luxury to me when I handled and opened the box. I have stayed away from GHD because the temperature is too high for my hair so these are better that they’re variable and they straightened my hair very well.

Watch out, competitors...
Disclaimer: I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to using straighteners to curl my hair, so I can only comment on using this appliance to do its main job, i.e. straightening the hair.I have long, straight hair but I regularly use straighteners to make my hair smooth and frizz-free. I have owned GHDs in the past, which I replaced with a set of Wide Plate Cloud 9s.These T3 Lucea Straighteners are an upgrade to my Cloud 9s. They have 9 heat settings, which is more than my previous straighteners ever had. I whizzed through the various heat settings but found myself not needing to go above 7 to smooth my hair on a normal day. I imagine that I might need 8 or even 9 on a high umidity summer day, or on holiday in a tropical climate. Instead of an unattractive switch on the inside of the appliance, T3 only has one button which you use to turn the heat up or down - with LED indicators to show the heat setting. It’s a very pretty design which I think a lot of competitors will end up copying. In terms of safety, the plate never felt too hot close to my scalp as it’s very well insulated. They felt comfortable to handle for prolonged periods of time - again I can’t comment on the more complex techniques of curling - I just usually run the straighteners down my hair and that’s it.Not quite a negative but the plate of the T3 isn’t as wide as my Cloud 9 - it’s still absolutely usable for me and I have a lot of hair. All in all, I would say these T3 straighteners are just as good if not better as the two brands I have used so far. Watch out GHD, there’s a new kid in town.

Expensive but works as a cheap one.
I'm only strengthening my hair so I will comment on that.I had lots of hair straighteners with prices varying from £20 to £200, and I can say that this straightener is no better than £20 one, from a supermarket. The only thing I like about this straightener is the end of it, when you are straightening your hair and accidentally touch your head, you won't burn, but that's all.It is straightening my hair, but leaves it like a "burned mess". My hair is damaged, and has been for years because of bleaching but I never had this problem with my ceramic-plated BabyLiss which wasn't expensive. Another problem with this straightener for me is that it doesn't close. I have to keep it as it is shown in the photo, so basically - not safe.So in overall, it is a basic hair straightener, with no "extras", it looks nice, and stylish, and there is an extra safety for your scalp, but that's all, it doesn't make my hair smooth as it states, and my cheap Babyliss does it. So I personally not seeing a point to pay that much (currently £129.99) for a basic device like this one.
