Cute, works well
This works so well. I pour hot water in here to sterilize my menstrual cup, or sometimes I’ll put hydrogen peroxide in here and leave it on my window sill to bleach it back out. It’s very easy to use, collapses down flat again, easy to clean. You could do the same thing in a glass bowl or something but I do like having a designated container for it. Super useful and does what it is supposed to well.

Amazing customer service
Amazing product, even better customer service! I opened the carry cup and realized it’s a tad too big to fit in my everyday crossbody bag, reached out to Pixie and they went above and beyond to help me out! If you use a disc or cup, you NEED this carry cup. Perfectly collapsible, nice thick silicone, and love that you can sanitize in it! Also- The red color is gorgeous. I do find it a tad big for public use/carrying around, but it would definitely work (as long as you don’t have a tiny purse like I do!)

Makes cleaning my menstrual cup quick and easy. Careful - material gets hot in microwave
I like using menstrual cups for both my health (less exposure to toxins from bleached cotton) and environmental reasons (less wasteful than disposable pads and tampons). After each period, I would boil my cup in a small pot of water for 5-10 minutes as suggested by the manufacturer. However, it was always a bit of a process that took some time and I'd do it early in the morning so my husband didn't have to see the pots we use for cooking involved in sterilizing my feminine products. This Pixie sterilizing cup has been an improvement all around. It uses very little water - I add just enough to cover the menstrual cup by a quarter of an inch. I shove the menstrual cup sideways into the bottom of the Pixie Cup, so even less water is required. Then I put the cover on and zap it in the microwave on high for about 1.5 minutes. That is enough to get the water nearly boiling. Certainly hot enough to kill any lingering organisms. I just let it cool til it's safe to handle and then rinse them both out and voila! All done. You certainly can place the menstrual cup straight into the Pixie Cup without turning it sideways, but I've read reviews where having the water that close to the rim meant it overflowed once it was hot. So I prefer cramming it in on its side and keeping the water level as low as possible for safety. Another alternative is to soak the menstrual cup in hydrogen peroxide in the Pixie Cup, but I have tried that after the boiling method and nothing fizzed or bubbled. This means the peroxide was not finding any cells to break down because the boiling was enough to remove any foreign matter. So I'd recommend either boiling or peroxide, but both don't seem necessary. My only caution is that the Pixie Cup material does get very hot due to contact from the water inside. So be careful when handling it after heating. I have learned to handle the Pixie Cup near the top when removing it from the microwave. Silicone is an awesome material in that it is safe, non-reactive, and withstands very high temperatures without breaking down (that's why you often see it used to coat kitchen utensils). But that thin layer being in contact with very hot water means if you grab the Pixie Cup straight out of the microwave it still gets pretty toasty! It's much better than using something metal, however, which would burn your skin immediately under the same conditions. So be aware of what you're doing, don't have unrealistic expectations of the materials, and use common sense. That will ensure you get the most out of your Pixie Cup and make our periods slightly less of a hassle ;-)

Love It!
The cup arrived a day sooner than expected in a flat bubble wrap mailer. It was delivered to my door rather than my mail box, but I'm sure it could have fit inside? I don't know why they did that? My neighbors are close enough to easily see I had a package... But I digress. As for the product itself, I love it. The color looks as I intended. It is a soft silicone material and the fresh teal blue I picked adds to the feeling of "fresh and sanitary" that I am looking for. At first, I opened the pixie cup and felt like the walls might be too flimsy to hold water? But the lip of the cup is hard and thick so it gives you something more firm to hold onto. It says the cup is microwavable? I think thats great, but I wanted REALLY hot water. I ran my Kuerig coffee machine through a cycle without coffee in it, dumped that, and then put my pixie cup underneath to fill with hot water. When it was done, I put one of my menstrual cups (I own 2 sckoon cups) inside for five minutes with the lid on. Then I took the lid off, picked the cup up very carefully (since it was still full of hot water) and dumped the water out and then left everything to air dry upside down on a paper towel. Having a product that can contain AND sanitize my menstrual cup in a way that is discreet is everything. The pixie cup is very versatile and withstands a lot of heat, so I feel confident that it will help me store my menstrual cup safely and confidently even when I am in a tight spot.

Amazing!
I just got mine in today and I love it. I have been using a flex disc since July so about 10 months. I have been sanitizing with hot water and a cup and also using antibacterial soap for disc. This thing works so much better and has plenty of room. The quality is so nice, it helped get rid of some staining I had on my flex disc since it is clear. It comes with instructions and tips to use it in public restrooms as well. After using this I feel like I was cleaning all wrong before! I think I will purchase the smaller size for my purse so I can have one with me on the go. I added a photo with an extra disc I have inside to show the size.

Convenient, mess free, perfect for storage and sterilization
I debated on purchasing this for a while now, and after running into the same issues every month with trying to carry, clean, and then store my cup in a way that felt clean to me, I went for it. I don’t know why I waited so long to get this! it is so easy to microwave sterilize your cup, and if you were on the go/in public, it would be easy to clean this and pack it away in your bag if you needed to because it is collapsible and has a lid. Most cups come with a storage bag but that just didn’t feel quite right to me especially storing it around my kids and other family who might be curious, LOL. My only regret, is not getting the whole kit from Pixie with the cleansers and and cups!

I’ve used it for a couple of months now and I can say that it’s very convenient, a good method for safe and easy sterilisation and storage of the disc.
