I have been very pleased with the bird barrier.One thing I would recommend, is to make sure and order the extra 50 clips (I'm glad I did). I found that 50 is not quite enough to ensure good coverage around fastening trouble areas such as corners, splicing piece overlaps, etc.Installation is not that difficult. Follow the instructions, pay attention to your unique roof situation, overall a pretty good and very satisfying DIY project.Since I installed the bird barrier in September, they have not had access underneath my solar panels. Now fewer visit- almost like they are checking for a nesting area, but never stay.I highly recommend this system. When we purchased and had our solar panels installed in 2016 I had no idea pigeons/birds were attracted to them for building homes. We were spoiled for a couple of years. Had I known, I would have installed this right after the solar was installed.Great system, great price, great DIY project. Exactly what I was wanting.

I use this product in my business it's great and easy to use. There 3 types of wire I bought GOOD, BETTER, and BEST. This is mid and is good quality for price.

You hafta figure it out yourself, the silly video and pics only give clues, but its pretty easy.WARNING - there's a heavy grease on the product, and it won't wash off your hands very well!Not thaaat fast to install - it took me about 4 hours to do a 36 foot side of my solar panel array; now I could do the other side in maybe 2 hours because I've figured it out.

We never had squirrel troubles before the solar panels. After panels, we had a squirrel nest under some of the panels and also destroyed our Christmas lights for said nest. I decided to kick them out so I bought this. I first bought the 6" x 100ft with 100 connectors then bought the one with 60 connectors. Nearly ran out of connectors since they are cheap and kept breaking or bending. The ones that did work, worked good. This is also my first time doing this so that also might be part of the issue. I have uploaded photos of parts of the barricade. I did not want long pieces of metal sticking out so I cut them pretty short

I purchased Bird/Critter Guard because I just had solar panels installed and I saw the migration of my neighbors' pigeons migrate to my roof top. Also, I was sent a picture of a nearby home where the entire rain gutter was filled with pigeon waste! My Bird/Critter Guard was installed by a friend, and he said it was easy to install and secure. It has only been up for three weeks, and I am glad to see the pigeons did not have enough time to establish a new home territory. Currently, my neighbor who has the pigeons nesting under his solar panels, is waiting for his order of Bird/Critter Guard to arrive from Amazon! It is the best solution to a very nasty problem.

I only have one other cheaper critter guard to compare this to, and this is by far better. The metal is thicker and stronger. It seems coated properly where the other guard already appeared to show signs of rust while still in the package. The spacing of the squares was precise, where the other product wasn’t always. The hooks and “washers” or whatever they are worked very well.. the washer would tightly hold onto the hook, as where my other product the washer holes were either too big, or they gave me hooks that were too thin, forcing me to tighten and bend the hook to try and keep the mesh in place. For a one-time do it yourself job, this was perfect. Wear gloves, the black coating will mess your clothes and hands.

I had a professional roofer install these guards for me as my roof pitch is a bit too steep for me. He told me these were the best guards he's ever used and were very easy to work with. He mentioned that some other products use plastic clips which break pretty easily especially when exposed to the sun.I would suggest picking up an extra bag of clips if you're doing this job yourself. You'll notice my roofer used a "brace" to bend the excess mesh so the guard fit uniformly to the roof.

I am using this for installing critter guards on the bottom of fencing and sheds. The mesh is pliable enough to conform where I want it to , and the finish stays put. Heavier gauge steel than hardware cloth from big box store, and 8 inch width means I only need to snip to length and fasten. I used t-50 9/16" staples to fasten. I fastened to wood, then tucked bent lip along ground and held down with landscape rocks or landscape/irrigation staples.

The Good-----------I received a 8 inch X 100 foot roll with 2 X 50 Clip bags. Both side surfaces of the roll was sticky and some of the PVC came off on my hands. I put the roll in the sun for some hours and the stickiness was reduced. I suspect the roll is being wrapped in plastic too quickly during manufacture.The thickness of the roll is good and bends nicely.The Bad----------I needed exactly 100 feet of guard roll. I unrolled it on my driveway and measured 95 feet and 3 inches. One clip bag contained 47 rods and 46 plates. The other clip bag contained 52 rods and 47 plates.Its not worth my time to return it just to receive a similar faulty product. Fortunately I was able to make up the length of guard roll with some galvanized 1/2 inch mesh wire leftover from my garden.ROTAK DO BETTER!
