Good cable with a great jacket
Edit: I've been using this cable for about six months and it continues to perform well. This is a good cable. If you are looking for a connector combination the factory cables don't provide, this will get you there and in a package that is easier to live with. From a physical perspective, the jacket is a smooth, finely woven nylon material. It doesn't kink or get caught on things. The length is great for use at a desk and the connectors have a nice tactile feel and appear to be sturdy. For me - the factory cables constantly kink up and snag on things. These do not. They simply drape and slide as you move around. Highly recommended for this part alone.I am using this with the HD800S and a Jotunheim 2. From a sound quality perspective, these are very good. The signature detail comes through with a nice bonus in bottom end presence and control.

Achieve Uniform Look with a Touch of Walnut Wood Elegance
Acquiring the NewFantasia 4-pin XLR Balanced Cable was a decision driven by a desire for consistency and aesthetic enhancement in my audio setup. Right out of the box, the walnut wood shell of the connectors caught my eye. Not only do they visually complement my Sennheiser HD800 headphones, but they also give the entire setup a refined and cohesive look. I appreciate this touch of elegance in my audio gear. The cable performed admirably during several listening sessions. The sound clarity was notably retained, and I didn't notice any distortion or interference. The braided design ensured a tangle-free experience, which is a huge plus considering how often cables can become a tangled mess. While I haven't had the chance to thoroughly stress-test the cable in various scenarios, its build quality suggests that it should hold up quite well.On a practical level, the 2.1-meter length of the cable provided ample flexibility for my setup, allowing me to move around without feeling restricted. The temperature resistance range is an impressive feature, although I haven't yet had the opportunity to test its limits. If I encounter any issues or feel the need for further feedback, I'll be sure to update my review. So far, I'm quite satisfied with this upgrade. One minor point of concern is that the cable's overall sound enhancement wasn't as striking as I had hoped. While it's certainly reliable and aesthetically pleasing, audiophiles seeking a dramatic sound difference might want to manage their expectations. Nevertheless, for anyone looking to match their headphone setup with a visually appealing and functional cable, this is a solid choice.

Great cable!
Good specs, good materials, good connectors, good price. Overall, a win for Sennheisers. The cable is very flexible and lightweight - maybe a little too flexible as it can get tangled up easily, but it collapses to a very small profile and is significantly lighter than the stock cables. Silver plated copper is awesome - it adds detail, bass, but retains the warmth of copper. The price isn't exactly cheap, but it is very reasonable for getting into silver.

Good looking cable that works
Got this XLR cable for my HD800S and it works as advertised. The wood and gold accents look nice and classy. The cable itself is relatively quiet with very low microphonics. However, there's room for improvement. The sleeve used is very rough bordering on abrasive similar to sleeve used for PC cables. After wearing my headphones for an hour or so, the exposed parts of my neck and chest where the cable rubbed against were left a bit raw and irritated. The XLR connector needs better manufacturing tolerance because it goes on pretty tight on the XLR out of both my amps as well as an XLR to 1/4" adapter I am using with an OTL amp. Overall, it's a decent cable. Just have to make sure body parts that come in contact with it are fully clothed.

Great aftermarket cable
These are for the Sennheiser HD800 series and they fit perfectly, they are also very attractive and good looking cables. For the money you really can’t go wrong. They are silver plated copper cables which isn’t too different from the OEM cables, but they sound great and they perform just as well. They just have a more antique look for them. Great value.
