Hi, can you remove olives from plastic pipes with this tool? Many thanks

Hi - I have only used this tool on copper pipe and brass olives. However, the tool fits around the olive directly and does not touch the piping so my guess is that it would work OK.It does not crush the piping - only just splits the olive. Hope this helps.

I need to replace a number of old rad valves with trvs, but the pipe work is plastic, not copper. can anyone advise if this tool is suitable, please?

Works really well on plastic/poly/barrier pipe. I was a little nervous chomping the copper olives on some towel radiator plastic tails that were coming out a tiled wall - if it went wrong next stop was smashing tiles. Anyway this tool worked a treat. Before working on the real pipes I tested on some spare pipe. I made sure the tool was correctly aligned on the olive to make sure it removed it cleanly. Job done and very happy, this tool is awesome.

Can this tool be usd for removing 1/2” olives?

Can you get replacement blade for 2030B-1 if so where can you buy it. Not found anywhere yet.

Don't think you can replace the cutting edge. As it's an integral part I think.
