Does what it says on the tin

I wanted an inexpensive marinader - instead I have used it to inject apple juice etcetera into my Christmas cake. I am very happy with the product, although the tip falls out quite easily and it is only for smaller/thinner liquids, not chunky marinades for example. For the price it seems a good buy. Originally I bought it for a little extra present, but gave the 'Amazon' 'Add On' as that present. Not because I thought the marinader looked better (it was in fact cheaper), but this although protected well, the packaging (to keep the postage down I am guessing) was just bubble wrap and a clip close plastic bag in an air parcel bag, which made it look 'cheaper'. I think it was probably better made than the other I bought for me, but that came attached to a blister pack and thus looked more of a present, sorry.

I just review another product and my review was smutty so I am going to try harder with this one (Oh! here we go again).If you want to get your jam in a doughnut, this'll work (Stop it!) or custard in a bun (you've been warned) you have to buy it. But if you want to put cream in a cone (Jones, stop sniggering boy), this is the kit you need.Look after yourselves and be well.

This product is ideal if you wish to use it in the kitchen, it is of study build and ideal for use as a baster or jam injector. If considering this for use outside to deal with Knotweed, then it is not suitable. The needle is not of a strong enough design to penetrate the outer sheaf of the knotweed and bends or breaks.

Not great to assemble the needle into the holder. It should have been threaded to make it easier, and at finger tight it came off easily and was very lopsided. I had to use 2 pairs of pliers to attach it properly

Now that I have finally received the item, it is well made, robust and fit for purpose. Unfortunately if you want one order it in plenty of time. Mine was ordered for Christmas and arrived two days to late! That said it's good value for money and will come in handy for next year!

I bought this little gizmo in August 2017. Unpacked it, looked at it, thought "what the hell am I going to do with this?", and like so many other kitchen gadgets put it in the draw and forgot about it.That was nearly 18 months ago. However, today I discovered a brilliant use for it - lubricating the Christmas Turkey!!! I melted some butter, loaded up the syringe and injected deep into the bird in numerous places (some best left unsaid), and it worked. No more dry Turkey!

a great idea other than the usual of painting the brandy on the top and bottom of the cake, however, do not press the plunger in too hard or quickly otherwise it spills over the top.
