A product that actually works as advertised!
One of the best products we use in our pool, hands down. The house I used to live in a few years ago had a 20' x 45' in-ground pool and after taking care of that for over a decade, I figured I had this whole pool chemical thing down. Not so, apparently.A few years ago I moved into a new house with a 15' x 30' above-ground pool. First thing I noticed after we moved in were what looked like shredded sheets of pink tissue paper floating around inside the pool. No combination of chlorine, chemicals or treatment (or even massive amounts of vacuuming and cleaning the filter afterwards) could get rid of this stuff. It was maddening. How could I keep a 20x45' pool crystal clear year-round with very little chemicals other than chlorine and now following the same chemical/treatment regimen in this pool, it didn't seem to be helping at all with this "pink slime" problem?! Completely frustrated, I set off to do some research and I'm glad I did.Enter AquaFinesse. After some reading and claims that this will fix my problem, I bought an 8-count pool pail and started the treatment to my pool as recommended by the manufacturer. I have no idea what they put in this stuff, but I will say this: my pink slime problem is gone (and rather quickly), my chemicals seem to be much more stable in the pool, and since I started using AquaFinesse, none of pink junk has returned and my pool looks cleaner than ever.I don't care for the high price of the product, but there can be no denying that this stuff (if you have a 'pink slime' aka biofilm) works wonders. I cannot recommend this product high enough for this use. Also, I found that the "pink slime" (which is actually bacteria forming a biofilm over itself to protect it from chlorine) was being introduced into the pool by none other than city water. My old house had a well, this house is being fed by a municipal water system. This is where this pink-slime forming bacteria are being introduced. At least now I know what the problem is and AquaFinesse fixes the issue quickly and completely.***Update (08/28/20) - Aqua Finesse continues to be a valuable asset for my pool care. Several years later after continuing to use the product, I have not seen the issues with the 'pink slime' again and this product definitely leaves my pool looking and smelling fresh and clean. I cannot recommend this product enough. It's pricey, but it does exactly what it says it will do. Still very satisfied.

Solved our pink mold problem for good!!! 7 years and counting!
I absolutely love this stuff! It saved my sanity and money! We have an indoor pool and years ago when we moved in, we never had a pool, not alone an indoor pool...We had no idea the special needs of an indoor pool. We decided to not use chlorine and use a bromane base disinfectant...Big mistake. We soon had pink mold and a lot of it. We tried so many things and that pool was every color you could imagine. We finally shocked it, it turned bronze...yes, bronze. Then we came across Aquafinesse online and figured why not?We added several pucks directly to the bottom of our 24,000 gallon pool 1st, about six of them across the pool and then 2 in the filter with a couple chlorine pucks. Within a short period of time, we were mold free! It's been 7 years now and I throw 2 pucks in with 2 choline pucks and we have never had a problem since! We stopped checking the water years ago as it was always balanced. Kudos to Aquafinesse and I'm thrilled that Amazon is carrying it now!

One day fix for "Pink Slime"
Worked the 2nd time I tried to use it. 1st time only put (2) tablets in pool (11,000 gallons), per instructions. Virtually made no improvement!2nd time, vacuumed pool very well and replaced DE media, flushed DE tubes, and shocked with liquid household Chlorine. THEN, added (4) pucks (each one only lasted an hour in the skimmer, so basically let four dissolve into pool sequentially). Left filter on overnight and all of pink slime/residue was gone. Have been using skimmer socks, and prior to proper AquaFinesse application, these socks would come out very PINK, due to the bio-film bacteria slime. White mold was also gone. Saw another post where they used (6), but had larger pool. Might suggest replacing sand after vacuuming, if you have a sand filter. We have solar panel heaters and keep pool in low 90's with solar cover on top. Rain and topping off with city water may have seeded the bacteria. Never had this problem before, and have used solar panels for 30 years. Did not want to drain / scrub / and add city water with even more bacteria. This method was way cheaper / easier than that option!

Excellent results in clearing up white water mold problem!
Highly recommend this product - it worked exactly as advertised! Used in conjunction with a solid round of vacuuming/brushing and a megadose of shock, It helped us take care of a sudden and fairly extensive white water mold problem that cropped up a couple of weeks after opening our 20,000 gallon in-ground pool. It definitely helped to eliminate the white mold and the biofilm that it was attached to. It helped to get the free chlorine level back in a good range. I will be adding this to my normal pool care regimen.

Love it!
So we just installed new inground pool and after one month got white water mold which local compAny tried to treat and never changed sand. So had to treat again after changed sand filter. Dropped in couple of tabs and one weekly and finally got rid of horrible stuff only to close the pool for season. Will definitely order and put in our pool always to prevent the WWM.

Doubtful benefit
Firstly, I put this pellet into my float and it proceeded to dissolve into small white flakes within minutes. These didn't seem to dissolve and as a result my robot picked the pieces up. Later when I changed the bag, the small pieces could be visible inside the bag, they apparently did not dissolve completely. If this product was supposed to help keep my water clean/clear, I'm not sure how it could do that when it didn't fully resolve. Just made a mess on the bottom of my pool. I won't purchase again.

No effect
I used this following instructions diligently for 3 months. When I lowered the water level, there was the same waterline calcium scale that I experienced before Aqua Finesse. It did not even soften the scale, had to use muriatic to remove it.
