This product is easy enough to install. I used my own additional connector blocks to make it easier to attach to the light cable. I also set the time duration to 45 seconds. This is in fact long enough. I had one previously and I set it to 4 minutes and it only lasted 2 years, so this one should last 5 times as long . . . !It is an excellent advantage in our hallway and works perfectly.

I've been looking for a plain looking LED motion sensor light to put in my porch. You'd think that would be easy but most of the lights that fitted the bill just seemed unrealistically expensive.This is probably the cheapest option that fits all my criteria. It's very light weight, a pressed steel base with a plastic diffuser. The silver surround on the diffuser does appear to be metal. I can't tell if it's stainless, aluminium or just pressed steel that's been coated. Either way it looks fine. The light is mounted with 3 screws which are included along with 3 wall plugs. As my porch has a boarded ceiling I used plasterboard fixings which I had handy. The electrical connection is a push-in type so you won't need a screwdriver for that part.Inside the fitting there is the LED array and the controller. The options you get are:Motion detection range: 9ft, 13-14ft, 18ft approx.Detection mode: Night mode (only work when it's getting dark) or day mode (works all the time).Light duration: 3 seconds (for testing), 45 seconds, 4 minutes.Standby modes: Dim - Can be set to stay at 30% brightness then increases to 100% once motion sensor is triggered. Dark - The light stays off until triggered.Yes, this is cheaply made but I still think it's a good product for the money considering it has a decent range of controls. I particularly like the Standby mode. Overall I give it 4 stars.

The Good:The build quality of the metal base which houses the LEDs and transformer/radar unit is excellent. I found it easy to insert the wires into the terminal block - just press the button, insert the wire and let go, I notice other reviewers found this problematic. The 6000-6500K colour temperature is bright white, ideal for the toilet where I installed the light to the ceiling using the three fixings (provided).The Bad:The cover is made from flexible plastic with a textured opal diffuser which is mounted to the base using a bayonet fitting. The Aluminium trim on the cover is too thin, shows manufacturing imperfections and easily damaged but when it's mounted on a ceiling they are not so noticeable. Annoyingly the detector unit hums and the LEDs remain dimly lit (as you can see in the ceiling photo) even when off which could be a manufacturing defect(?).The Other Stuff:The RADAR detector is sensitive so I set this to the minimum (around 3m) and to Night mode so it only comes on when it's dark (<2000 Lux) and the duration to 4 minutes so it stays on long enough for an average toilet visit and doesn't keep flashing on/off - which is an issue with the 3 or 45 second settings. On these settings it's off during the day which is ideal.I really like the look and even lighting spread and, apart from the humming and LED always on issues, it's a great value for money light with built in sensor.

So far so good.... Nearly a year of flawless performance. Installed in our glass porch, it's just about sensitive enough that the light comes on as you get to the porch door - useful now it's winter and dark, plus it doesn't go off every time a neighbour walks a dog.Nice and bright too with a nice, though slightly bluish white colour to it... Very close to daylight bulb but a little on the blue side (if you're sensitive to that, I'm very particular about the colour temperature of my lights!)

Not sure it's worth the money to be honest....Pros:It is a very bright light - much more than I expected.As others have said it is quite simple to fit although the internal connector isn't the easiest I've used (in fact I simply replaced it with a standard UK terminal block)Cons:Construction is, as also mentioned by other reviewers, flimsier than I was expecting and the outer shade still doesn't look as neat as I would like.The settings aren't accurate. The "dark" setting come on in dim light which is annoying as I really only want it to operate as a nightlight.

I had it installed and it stopped working after about 11 months. I have no idea if it was the controller or the actual LEDs but the light is dead. I'm guessing it has 12 months warranty but it took me a few weeks to get round to having a look at the issue. Now I've had the light just over 1 year and so I probably can’t do anything with it except bin it. Sorry the overall quality of the light is just okay when it works. The sensor is finicky - you end up waving your arms to get it to turn on. The light was installed on 2nd floor landing as a night and it has had minimal use. I would certainly not recommend this light as I would have expected it to last at least 5 times (prob 10 times longer) than it did. Big thumbs down, sorry

This light works very good so far. It was very easy to install. I instaled mine on the corridor because I didn't had any light point so if I need to go to the bathroom during the night I went in the darkness. I only drilled a small hole in the selling to pass a wire to my connection box and fix it with the screws and it was working perfect for about two weeks.

I bought two lights for a dark hallway. They worked well for four years then both failed within a month of one another. They glow dimly and slightly brighter when they detect you but fail to illuminate fully. I am disappointed at the working life being only 4 years as, before failure, they were fit and forget excellent.

Point important : ce plafonnier répond aux normes CE . Ceci permet donc de se sentir en sécurité. L emballage est top et la qualité de la lumière est parfaite . Plus besoin de chercher l interrupteur avec son détecteur de mouvement. Cela est très pratique lorsque nous avons les mains prises .

Die Lampe macht in der Hand einen billigen Eindruck, weil sie aus sehr leichtem Plastik ist und beim montieren ist an einer Ecke wohl auch ein kleines Stück Kunststoff abgebrochen.. Nichts desto trotz, wirkt sie an der Badezimmerdecke nicht mehr so billig, sondern im Gegenteil sehr schön und gibt ein tolles, helles Licht ab. Das gebrochene Stück sieht man nicht und tut dem Halt an der Decke auch keinen Abriss.. Von daher: wirklich gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
