Wayne 57028-001 Legend Check Valve, 1-1/4" - 1-1/2"

Very sturdy, the right item for the sump pump discharge.Good value.

Easy replacement unit for my existing sump pump. Make sure you fully loosen all the hose clamps to ensure you get the best fit to your pipes then clamp them down. I didn’t do that the first time and had a gusher when I tested it. Didn’t get a good seal. Live and learn!

The check valve didn't work for my application (sump pump). It is a good quality valve but didn't close quickly enough so I returned them and went with a spring loaded check valve to minimize the noise of the water gurgling back into the sump pit after the pump shuts off.

I returned it bc 1 came with the part i later bought.

Best check valve for the money. Quiet when is use.

2nd one I have purchased for my outdoor sumps. The first one I purchased locally was 2x the price. Does the job well keeping the water from flowing back into the sump after discharge. I have a rather long hose running around my house so there is always water residual in the hose that wants to creep back to the sump hole where it came from. This is a winner idea

The Wayne name means alot. this is a very well built check valve. I bought it to go with my Wayne 1/2 HP sump pump. I am just about ready to install the sump, and sump pump. I am familier with the Wayne name and I have no doubt that it will preform as expected.

Purchased the Wayne 57028-001 Legend Check Valve along with the Wayne WSS30V combination pump. The Wayne 57028-001 works as described but has a loud clunk when the pump shuts off. The pump is very quit but is running quite frequently so each time when the pump shuts off we can here the check valve clunk all the way from upstairs and the pump is in the basement. I have ordered a differnet check valve one that has been reviewed to be quite and not have this issue, I will keep the wayne as a spare.
