Colourful Enjoyment
A great value set of colouring pencils. Purchased for a friend's son, who enjoys drawing and colouring, allowing his imagination and creativity to be expressed and he can also 'switch off' from the rigours of academic subjects at school. He seems very happy with them, so I am pleased.

Not up to the usual Crayola standard
The crayola box is beaten up a bit with sticky tape at the bottom, almost looks used. Some broken pencils inside and only 35 supplied!! Next time I'll buy from the store . Not the usual Crayola high quality and obviously with foreign language, not what was advertised

Can't beat Crayola....or so I used to think!
Well, there is no denying that Crayola pencils are the best.I've often bought those jumbo packs of coloring pencils you see in the cheaper budget shops where everything is £1 etc, and they are just awful; they break, they don't sharpen well and the colours are so weak you can barely see them even on white paper.Crayola pencils may be comparatively expensive (compared to, say, 100 pencils for £1) but in this case, the quality speaks for itself. These pencils will LAST. The colour is rich, vivid and deep. They sharpen well. They do not break. The colour selection is lovely.I will never buy cheap pencils again. We have binned a carrier bag full of cheapo pens and pencils and are sticking with these from now on. The old saying in this case is true....buy cheap, buy twice.Worth the extra money to get a good quality pencil.Recommended.THIS REVIEW IS BEING EDITED - after a few uses, when we went to sharpen the pencils, most of them broke all the way through the lead and ended up in the bin. The wood splinters way too easily and you cant sharpen them to a good point or they just snap. VERY disappointed in Crayola! I can however HIGHLY recommend Bic Evolution pencils (not made from wood so they don't splinter) or Papermate colouring pencils which sharpen fantastically well to a razor sharp point without breaking. In summary, I regret giving the original 5 starts to these pencils and have edited it dwon to 3 stars which is generous! A shame because the colours themselves were good and vivid on the paper.

Good and vivid set of colour pencils.
Brilliant colour pencils. Really vivid colours. Doesn’t require pressure or multiple layers to see colour. I use these alongside my alcohol markers to colour in light patches and I’m impressed at how well the match up. The selection of colours are good so I don’t think I’ll be needing new pencils for a while.

Great, versatile pencils
I've used Crayola coloured pencils for many years, in fact most of my life. Mostly because they have good, strong leads and are affordable. Other artists buy expensive artist pencils but I've always stuck with these since, for me at least, they work just as well. They're blendable although they aren't soft like some other coloured pencils, which may make blending hard for some people who are used to using softer pencils. They don't break like cheaper pencils do when you sharpen them so I would recommend them for children who may be a little more heavy handed when sharpening. I'm not sure as you can post links to examples of artwork on here but I use them for fantasy art and shading that has up to 5 layers of colour.Overall, these are great pencils and if you're an artist like me, but don't have the money to buy the more expensive brands, then I highly recommend them.

Well worth the money.
Crayola crayons are by far worth the extra money. They have a much smoother action than a lot of the cheaper crayons which can have a scratchy feel to them. They sharpen well and the lead doesn't break easily...ideal for younger artists who can be a bit heavy handed. The depth of colour is where they truly prove their worth. Cheap crayons can leave lines and it can be hard to get any colour on the paper...even going over the same area only produces a pastel shade. These you can get a wonderful depth of colour without having to colour the area to death! The red is a true red as opposed to dark pink which can be a big problem with some makes. I would definitely recommend anyone to spend a bit extra and get these..you won't b disappointed.
