YES! Review of my ePhotoInc Heat Press vs OTHERS I've used
EDIT TO ADD: I last purchased Mar 6, 2018 and its still running strong. The labels on the edges have melted off due to use and etc but it gets hot quickly and still does the job 4 years later!I searched for the perfect 15x15 heat press for months before taking the plunge. I originally ordered the other ePhotoInc version (cyan/blue color press) - but before it could reach my house, the packaging was "damaged in transit and returned to the sender". I was very disappointed and almost did not want to order another press from this company….ANOTHER BRAND (NOT EPHOTOINC): WHILE I WAITING FOR MY 2nd ORDER TO ARRIVE: I used my friend's heat press (15x15) in the meantime so I could get some of my orders done, but after several attempts to get her non-ePhotoInc press work correctly, we finally had to settle on increasing the temperature to 375 at 25 seconds per press for Siser White Heat Transfer Vinyl. But even at this setting, the bottoms and tops of my 11.5" x 14.25" dimension transfer peeled up after pressing on both the tops and bottoms of the design. I would have to peel up quickly and then re-press with a teflon sheet after smoothing down the issues. After sending out these orders, I then received complaints that my design was peeling away from the 100% cotton material in those exact locations I had issues with. I knew it had to do with all those reviews I read about how the edges of the press plate are not as hot as the middle and therefore not adhering correctly to my items.FINALLY, my ePhotoInc heat press arrived and I was hesitant to take it out of the box considering all the issues I was having and wondering if it could be my design, a faulty heat press, or maybe even my materials. I decided to try this heat press out before taking my HTV items off my store *due to the quality issues* .. and WOW! I Was so amazed! I was able to press my item with the exact dimensions at the desired temp: 305 degrees for only 17 seconds. I peeled away hot and my design never even budged! I have yet to get any complaints about the new 2.0 version of our HTV product! While there is the “clicking” noise that people complain about, this was to be expected for such a machine. It heats up fairly quickly, the buttons and tension dial are also easy to use.

It is sturdy and heavy
Researched for 2 weeks for an affordable start-up heat press for vinyl transfers. After seeing this one here, decided to order it and take my chances since it was far way cheaper than the big name competitors. Ordered it on Thursday, received it 2 days later! It is sturdy and heavy, plugged it in and it was perfect!! Set the heat for 320 degrees, it took about 10 minutes to reach temperature. Very easy to work and perfect results! I am glad I paid 1/3 of the price the big name competitors sale this 15 X 15 for!

Since 2017
I have had this heat press since 2017. And it has worked flawlessly. I just ordered another heat press from another company that stopped working in five months. Just wish I could get this one bigger than 15 x 15.

Good product
Has a few settings that a first time user doesnt know. Alarm is annoying and no way to turn it off while hearing up. Instruction book on features is not that helpful.

Love my heat press
The media could not be loaded. This is my first heat press so I can’t really compare it to another heat press. I did my research on heat presses and this press was in the top 5 and is a very good price. It’s very easy to use and it heats up pretty fast just make sure you plug it in a GFCI OUTLET so you won’t blow a fuse.

BUY THE WARRANTY!!! You will need it.
I was so excited when I received my heat press. I am strictly an amateur and do shirts for myself and a few for gifts. The press worked like a dream. I had it about 4 months, used it about 10 times, and it quit heating up right in the midst of the Holiday season. I was sooooo disappointed. I teach elementary school and was looking forward to wearing different Holiday tshirts to work.I emailed, then called the company when they didn't respond to my email in what I felt was a timely manner (waited a week). They sent out a replacement part, it didn't solve the problem. Their response, "Did you buy the extended warranty? Then, file a claim with the warranty company." Grrrrrrr. I highly recommend Square Trade. They handled my claim over the phone and I have a check on the way for $159, about $20 less than I paid. I'm good with that. If I hadn't bought the warranty, I'd be out $179.I just ordered a new one from a different company and wisely bought the warranty. However, all the heat presses in the $179 range look the same and have basically the same reviews. Some work great, some quit heating up. I think they are all made by the same company in China and it's a total crap shoot. I hope I get lucky this time. I just want a working heat press.*****IMPORTANT******* One more thing, the Serial Number was on the box, not on the press. Get the serial number off the box before you dispose of it. They won't process your claim without it. Sheer luck that I kept the box. Also, some brainiac decided to put the model number, etc, on a clear sticker with black ink and stick it on the black press. Can't read it unless you peel it off and it does not contain the serial number. Big thanks to the Square Trade rep who told me to look on the box.

Good Heat Press! Easy to use!
Just received my Heat Press on time! And after reading the many reviews I was a little nervous but fear not, after testing and using the press. I found that it worked great actually. It did come with instructions although not much instruction besides really telling you what are the parts of the machine in whole. I used my thermometer and saw that the heat was accurate to the reading. All 4 corners and middle heated evenly. It is very easy to use. You really do not need instructions as setting your temperature and time is like changing your clock on the microwave or on an oven. Press Temp, Digits will blink, Press Arrows to set it then press Temp again to commit. Same as time! Nothing was damaged and it looked completely new so im happy about that. I will add my picture of the press later. But this is a good buy. Just go for it. You will thank yourself later! I already pressed a couple of shirts with it and it came out really great!
