A fantastic tablet - better than iPad
This tablet is fantastic. You can use it as a standard tablet, or you can turn on Dex mode and the tablet turns into a mini-laptop and gets a desktop look and feel, similar to Windows or Chromebook. It's fast, and the stylus is better than the Surface or the iPad's -- it's soft, doesn't "tap" and is a pleasure to use. Its stylus responsiveness is better than the iPad's (lower latency: 2.8 milliseconds vs 9). If you use Windows, you can also use the S8+ as a second screen and turn it into a Windows graphics tablet - either with built-in the Second Screen functionality or the even better SuperDisplay app ($10-15, and worth every penny). I'm really impressed with the Tab S8+. Between the tablet mode, Dex, and Second Screen, it's basically three devices in one.

Excellent Experience and Great Device
This was my second time purchasing a refurbished Android device from Amazon and both experiences were fantastic for me. The tablet I purchased was listed as in excellent condition and I must agree that the one I received fit that description because aside from the packaging came in, it looks and runs just like new. The tablet itself is fantastic with its large screen, excellent speakers, and long battery life. I mostly use mine for video streaming and web browsing but it's capable of far more and would highly recommend for anyone considering one.

My new favorite device for travel
27 years working in I.T. and I can honestly say that this is my favorite tablet. Samsung makes a very solid piece of hardware here and a powerful processor and vivid screen. The wifi speeds I was seeing on this were maximum for my network (1gb). I'm pretty sure it could get the full 2.5gb if I had tested it on a network capable of it. I believe I clocked this on my last trip as getting about 9 hours between charges. The battery life is great on this. The screen size is perfect and the color is very rich and vivid. I paired this with a 1TB microsd card and a basic cover. That is way more than necessary for this tablet. I tested the 'second screen' app in windows with this tablet and it is a perfectly working sytem that is smooth and does not stutter or cause issues when playing high quality videos wirelessly to the tablet as a monitor. I also tested other 3rd party apps for the same functionality and they had problems. Stick with the native 'second screen'. If you're looking for the last tablet you'll buy for the next several years, this is the one.

Almost perfect...
The tablet itself came in perfect condition. However, the S-pen and the power supply were not a Samsung brand. Packaging could have been better.
