I knew for the price ($18) it wouldn't be great, but I didn't realize it would barely function. The drum mag doesn't work at all. The smaller mag actually works okay, but I got this blaster specifically for the drum.It is worth noting that the mag and drum are not electronic like most mag fed gel blasters. Instead, there is a sort of lever/button at the top of the mag that the gun pushes down after each shot. This lever is connected mechanically to some gears in the bottom of the drum and mag. As the lever is pressed the gears spin just enough to push a new gel ball into a tube coming out of the top of the mag. When the tube completely fills with balls then they start to come out of the mag and go into the gun. So in effect, gun presses button then a new ball pops out of the top and into the gun.The problem: after 2 or 3 shots the gears in the drum bind up and it is unable to feed the blaster. I can take the drum off and press really hard on the button to unjam it, but I would have to do that ever 2 or 3 shots. That's untenable. The normal mag is much better, but doesn't hold many balls.Beyond that the blaster is rather weak and slow. Probably an effect of having to press down on the button to feed a new ball putting too much strain on the blaster's gearbox.If the drum worked or if the blaster had better performance than it might be worth keeping. However, it has too many issues to justify keeping it. It's going back.

I bought several of these for my son’s birthday party. They used these for the party, then each of the boys were able to take the gun and extra bullets home for a party favor. My son said it was one of his favorite birthday parties ever.

likes : fun, fast rate of fire, shoots well, shoots fardislikes : internal wires are exposed to the water from the gel balls. wire WILL rust and cause malfunctions.notes : not easy to take apart and fix wires.

Bought our first one and it broke the next day, returned it because my son really wanted to try it and then that one doesn’t shoot out barely anything. Cheap for a reason.

Works good, shoots good. The only think I dislike about it, is the plastic piece that's ment to be the battery cover, does not lock in place, it just pops back off, and we have lost the piece completely now.

My grandson love this toy, I don't like buying him guns, but he cried and cried for this plus he is a very smart and intelligent child, and good and smart in school, the toy was everything in said to be, now i have to get him some refills
