Worth the hefty price tag
Honestly the only thing that has really helped my itchy scalp! I use it almost every day. Scent is really nice. I wish it wasn’t so expensive but it’s a lot more effective than the cheap stuff.

This works!
Ok so I told myself I wouldn’t write a review until I found something that worked. Well I’ve been losing my hair close to 4 months now. My scalp has been hurting and burning so bad. I’ve tried numerous products. I tried Nizoral shampoo, rosemary oil, zinc shampoo, head and shoulders, vitamins such as biotin iron saw palmetto zinc pumpkin seed oil spearmint. I was very skeptical at first because it’s pretty expensive and the last thing I wanted was another product that didn’t work! I’m using the shampoo and the over night serum. I will say this product is kind of greasy. I have to re wash my hair with another shampoo after using this. I don’t recommend using the over night serum unless you have time to wash your hair the following morning because it does leave your hair greasy as well. It smells kind of minty. Overall this product does work and my hair has stopped falling out and my scalp is not hurting any more. Hopefully on the road to regrowing my hair back out! I will say the rosemary oil does help with hair growth! Don’t give up! It took me 4 months to find a solution after going to 2 drs and visiting a dermatologist twice with no help.

not worth the cost
Not effective. To be honest I'm not sure how deep my symptons are/and if this was my issue; however I decided to test the whole package to see if it would help. No change. Disappointed because I spent a lot of $$ and kept it longer to see if they would work, so they window for return has passed. Not worth the cost for all 5 items I bought. I formulated a better more effective resolution that didnt even cost me what one bottle does.

Works pretty well so far
My scalp is well, a mess, on and off forever and recently my eyebrows seem to have issues with dry, flakey, scaly skin. Also my face appears to have decided that it doesn’t like yeast?!?. I have the shampoo and serum. The shampoo has worked wonderfully when left on my scalp overnight and on my face and eyebrows.. I’m going to repurchase and ad the scalp oil to see if that increases scalp relief as overall I don’t see much if any difference for my scalp alone overall. I’ve been using this shampoo to wash my face and even as an overnight serum and I do see definitive improvement on my face/eyebrows so I’m going to purchase the face wash too. I need to condition my hair (it’s thick and wavy) and wonder about conditioner (as well as hair products like hair spray and heat protection ) though because out of desperation one night I slept with a scalp full of this shampoo, I got my scalp a lil damp got shampoo a little sudsy, rubbed it in and the next day my scalp was 1000% improved in the morning. they don’t make any conditioner or other hair products and if what I’m using is counter-active that would make sense. I’d love a list of conditioners and hair products that are less irritating to my scalp- anyone ?

Read This Before Using!!
Let me start by saying that if you have seborrheic dermatitis, you've come to the right place. I'm sure that, like me, you have looked EVERYWHERE and tired EVERYTHING to clear up your scalp. And sometimes a new shampoo will work for a while, and then it...doesn't. Issues come back, frustration and gnashing of teeth ensues. Enter: Dermazen. If you haven't already, go to their website and download their free ebook. It's worth its weight in gold. There are a lot of factors that can worsen seborrheic dermatitis, and they do a great job outlining different things you can do in addition to using their products. That being said, the science behind the shampoo is revolutionary, plus I find that the formula doesn't irritate my scalp. So here's my caveat: Dermazen's shampoo is amazing. BUT. In my experience, you can't think of it as a standalone shampoo; I use it more as a treatment shampoo. Here's my hair-washing process:1) thoroughly wet my hair2) I start by deeply cleaning my hair with Purezero's tea tree & matcha shampoo. It's a clean/allergen-free/natural shampoo with scalp-friendly ingredients that really cleanses my scalp and hair but doesn't irritate it. PLEASE NOTE: I've tested it, and using Purezero alone does NOT clear up my seb dem. That's where Dermazen comes in...3) thoroughly rinse Purezero from hair4) SHAKE the Dermazen shampoo bottle well. This is key to mix the ingredients up every time you use it! It separates and if you don't shake it, it's super watery.5) Work a generous amount of the shampoo into the scalp and use a scalp scrubber brush to work it in.6) let the shampoo sit for several minutes as recommended7) rinse well8) condition with Purezero tea tree & matcha conditioner (don't get too close to the scalp)The key here is that pre-cleanse with another shampoo; it helps work some of the dirt & oil out of my hair and then I find Dermazen can really get in there to "treat" my scalp. Initially, I tried using Dermazen on its own but I had to use 1/2 the bottle to get the right amount of cleansing and my hair still didn't feel super clean. It's a low sudsing shampoo which I appreciate, but I personally find that this simple 8-step process works best for me. :)

Best treatment for seborrheic dermatitis!!
This brand's products have been complete game changers for me and my husband. We both had S.D. pretty bad with constant itching, rashes on our faces, and my husband also had it all over his chest and back. As a result of how hairy he is, his hair follicles on his chest and back were ALWAYs red, itchy, and often developed pustules around them. He even had big boils on his neck sometimes from S.D. and always enormous amounts of flaking. Using this shampoo along with the dermazen serum and EC3 product daily on all affected areas, and regularly sterilizing the things we use on our heads/faces/necks/chest/back with EC3 solution by Microbalance health products, we seem to have gotten rid of malessezia. We sterilized our combs after each use, as well as our pillow cases. Other items we disinfected often were hats, eye masks, makeup brush, sunglasses, and towels. After suffering from this condition for all of my adult life, it feels like a miracle! Thank you so much to Dermazen for a natural AND effective treatment for malessezia!
