POWERbreathe Classic Light Resistance (Wellness)

Used for 4 days and it does help with Asthma especially after colds which for us Asthma people are bad times. I cranked it up to level 4 after each day and this resistance is noticeably good. Cannot keep on pumping drugs into our bodies to help us breath ..

Hi, I purchased a Powerbreath Classic unit in Jan 2019 from Alton Sports. I didn`t get a chance to use it until last Nov. Found the unit to be really good and my lung capacity improved dramatically over a relatively short period of time. I have looked after the unit as recommended in the booklet, washing and drying it after use each day and sanitising it on a regular basis. About a month ago the valve began to stick such that it became impossible to draw air. I found that by rotating the cap on the air inlet I could then get the valve to work, however it is not as it was originally. I believe the unit needs a new valve. Would you please advise.

Good , and simple to use , only got it recently to help with a fibrosis issue I have , doing it twice a day and see how it will help later in the month .

I am aware that it is early says but after 5 days of using this I can really feel the benefits and am breathing deeper than I have for years. Not sure if it's a coincidence but a chest virus I've had for 9 weeks which affected my ashma quite seriously has just about extinguished itself since I started using this and my breath flow has improved by70 units. So if you have ashma I really recommend this item. I'm not sure about coming off my medication but in the long term that really would be a result. Thank you and I will update this review later.

Product arrived with Spanish instructions only. Emailed requesting English instructions - ignored.

Didn't work as well as expected.

This is a useful tool for asthmatics or following heart surgery ( after healing) to improve your diaphragm strength and decrease breathlessness but check the powebreathe website and then with you GP as some heart and lung conditions make this a bad idea.
