I've been suffering with severe hip pain (bone on bone) for the past 4 years. Couldn't even walk around my home without the use of a cane. I installed this 5" seat riser in under 5 minutes & starting with the first use no more hip pain ! It was truly miraculous for me. I can now walk without a cane, indoors & out. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. I have an oblong toilet & although the riser is slightly shorter than my toilet bowl, once the nob is tightened, the riser sits firmly & securely on the bowl. There is no shimmy or wobble & it feels more secure than my original toilet seat. Rather than plopping down & being in excruciating pain, I can now sit down & get up effortlessly & painlessly when it is "potty time". Wish i would have found this sooner ! Also, the material it's made of seems very solid & durable & it's very easy to clean. It appears to be built to last, but when it does need to be replaced I would definitely buy again.

It's okay to use if you need some right away and temporary. It gets dirty easily. Must remove and clean after nearly every use.

I had just had a knee replacement and those of you have had one know how hard it is to sit down or GET UP off the commode!!! When I added this raised seat….it wasn’t hard to sit or get up!!! I would definitely tell all knee replacement patients to buy one!!!!!!
