TAMASHII NATIONS - Dragon Ball Z - Super Saiyan Trunks -The Boy from The Future-, Bandai Spirits S.H.Figuarts Action Figure

I'm gonna give this figure five stars since the issues I had were extremely minimal, but all I had was that one of the bang pieces for the Super Saiyan hair was pretty loose, and the strap for the sword's sheath had a peg that was a bit of a struggle to wrap around the figure's torso. Other than that, well worth my money. Just wish it had another face plate for Trunks' base form.

let me just start by saying i owned the first issue of this figure and he was terrible the quality control issues he had absolutely ruined the figure for me so badly i ended up selling him. When they announced the reissue for this figure i was like meh, but started seeing reviews and decided to give him a second try and let me just say the figure is absolutely spectacular. I got the one with the small sticker so thats how i know hes the re issue and damn was THIS figure worth every single dollar. The superb quality on the reissue made him a million times worth it and better. 100% recommend the reissue to everyone probably figure of the year for me.

There are currently two versions of this figure on the market, the original run, and a reissue that fixes some QC issues that the original had. You can tell that you've got the reissue based on the box, which has a smaller silver "Tamashii Nations" Sticker on it than the original run. However, the one I received, while coming in the reissue's packaging, came pre-opened, the tape already cut, and on investigation of the figure itself, I found it to be the original version.You can tell this by looking at the printing on the figure's foot, the 4 dots in a diamond pattern, there are (or so I've been told) only 3 on the reissue. So somebody had opened the packaging and replaced the reissue with one of the originals, along with all of the known quality assurance issues that come with it. These issues include loose arms that pop off while posing, and very loose hips which wobble. These things don't get in the way of the articulation of mine too much aside from mild annoyances, as he can still hold a pose just fine, and has no trouble standing aside from a slightly weak ankle.Honestly, I got the figure at a decent enough price, so I didn't mind as much, especially since I'm relatively new to the hobby of figure collecting, but be mindful when you purchase it of if you are getting the older, lower quality figure, or the reissue.

DO NOT BUY THIS FIGURE. The figure was an obvious bootleg that was put into an official bandai box. Horrible quality and fake.

I bought this with the super Saiyan aura effect also from tamahi nations, I got some really cool poses, stop motions and shots with this, the only downside to this is that the sword kept falling off of the back but other than that AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend, good articulation too

The figure looks exactly like Future Trunks. He has great articulation, and his sword looks amazing and fits in the sheath. I got the reissue and he was genuinely perfect. His joints were secure, smooth, and not tight or loose. The only thing ill critique is that for 70 dollars they couldve included a few more base form headsculpts, or a ki blast effect. overall 10/10 highly recommended
