I needed a cropped blouse for a friend's wedding where she requested I wear a saree. I was looking for a navy blue cropped top. At first I tried an American-style cotton/spandex top but it looked too sloppy in my opinion for how beautiful of a saree she gave me to wear. She suggested I try Amazon for a top.I ordered this top on a time crunch using the size chart, and I am very pleasantly surprised by it after some modifications. I do feel comfortable using sewing tools and sewing machine, so that may be why I am so pleased, your mileage may vary.At first the top felt too short and felt almost too tight, but upon examination I realized it has very generous seam allowances and I was able to let out about an inch on either arm and also along both sides with a seam ripper. To remedy the shortness problem (when I raised my arms my bra and underboobs were hanging out), I took the remnants of my saree that was meant to be made into a custom shirt and sewed a 3 1/2" addition to the bottom. It's a slightly different color, but not noticeable at all after draping.I thought it was a little expensive for what it was, but it's for a wedding and I have no saree stores in my area so Amazon was my only option.

I ordered an X-LARGE. I thought I would size it down for a more fitted style. I got an XS at most. I was able to open it up a bit and enlarge it, but someone without needed skills would have had to return item.

Stitch and cloth quality not that good

Liked the fact that there was enough margin in the seams to work with during alteration. Little larger than estimated but that’s better than being small. The ties a little too high.

True to size, comfortable and just like the things mentioned

The material of the cloth can be a lot and too much stance which does not feel good, this blouse looks useless according to the money. I’m not satisfied and recommend anyone.

Fits well

I needed the blouses for sarees and randomly ordered looking at some positive reviews. I ordered a size 40 though I am somewhere around 39. It was perfect . I can always tighten it but quite comfortable as it is.Thanks for all those positive reviews.

I had ordered a stitched structured blouse in a peach colour but received a gold lace sleeved spandex top instead. See the peach underskirt next to the top in picture for colour comparison. Material is clearly not the same as the advertised item.
