AXIS-Y Biome Skin Lux Edition

This stuff definitely isn't bad, but it's not as hydrating as I anticipated. I have dry and dehydrated skin and a compromised skin barrier. I'm looking for something to soothe while adding adequate moisture. Despite how fragranced these products are, they were actually soothing. These don't have added fragrance, though some of the ingredients have a fragrance so you do get natural fragrance. It's got an earthy balsam smell (most likely from the balsam resin). Normally strongly scented stuff does cause immediate irritation within seconds, but these did not. I had zero stinging or redness after using. I cannot say if it caused adverse reactions in terms of causing more breakouts since I've only been using it a short time, but I can tell you that my skin does feel calmer altogether. Though I don't feel hydrated and I really feel like I need another moisturizer after the "last step" listed in their process. I think if I could get more moisture from these products or find a moisturizer that will work with these products, I'd be a very happy camper. But I just feel sad that I have all these products and I still don't feel truly moisturized. My skin does feel very soft though!
