A little spray, and the weeds between my pavers and the fence gave up the ghost dramatically within a day or two. I hesitate to think what must be in this stuff, but it does work. And I LOVE that it comes in a concentrate that you can dilute with water. It never made any sense to me to buy a big jug of mostly water for any product. I still plan to refill the container with the second package of concentrate and take another run at the most stubborn weeds, which are basically small trees. Here’s hoping.

I’ve bought this a few times and still find it to be very effective. Within a few hours weeds are noticeably reacting to it. It does take a bit of time to work on some weeds versus others (thistles for example) but it does the job with one application. Some of the spots I sprayed previously have not had weeds come back which is great as they were stubborn weeds to get rid of. The first time I used this there was no rain in the forecast however it did rain within 2-3 hours after applying and it still worked great even with it raining the next week straight the weeds still died off. Photo is of some weeds about 6 hours after application. My only issue with this is the refill packet. It’s not easy to break the seal which can cause chemical to splash out once you do get it broken. Also, putting chemical into a container and then adding water can become problematic by aerosolizing the chemical up if the water has too much pressure behind it so be careful.

Where I live, we have stubborn weeds and we have tried multiple things to try to kill them but they won't die. My family has trusted Ortho for our weeds before so I decided to try this product out. This product is very convenient since it includes a concentrate and a reusable bottle. This product lasts me a lot longer so that's a good thing. After using it on some stubborn weeds, it was a slow process but the weeds did eventually die. The only downside to this is that I hate that you can't use it around pets since most of our weeds are in the front yard where our dogs play. Other than that, this is a very great product but a trusted brand!

The weeds that grow up between my patio pavers are the bane of my existence. I've tried several different brands and this one actually works! I like that it comes in refills too.

First I like the product and use it often on my large property. We have lots of long fences and beds to spray weeds. This doesn’t work as fast as it claims. Sometimes I wonder if I even sprayed the weed. I am use to the other big name product making weeks look sick in minutes in the FL heat. This takes a while but it does kill them. So my 3 stars is because the product does work. The issue I have is that this product is sold as a environmental plastic saving product. Which it is if you use the little bags over time. It comes with batteries in the hand held wand, it comes in a huge oversized fancy cardboard box with the bags boxed in a box too. And deceptive, this looks like the gallon size container buy it isn’t. You have to read way down in the description to find that it is a half gallon. If you want to just buy the gallon size bottle, that will save you $2. The batteries in this hand held wand are a real pain to change with tiny screws etc. it takes 4 AA batteries. And you might get two or three gallons with one set of batteries. So I ask you is this really an environment saving product? It certainly isn’t money saving. I recommend you consider the single bottle of concentrate and getting a rechargeable sprayer.

While I haven't actually ever used the Ortho GroundClear herbicide before, I have been using a different brand product which is made from exactly the same active ingredients. The advantage of the Ortho is that the concentrations are higher than the other brand I used. I was always happy with the results that the other brand got (quick killing action, and no bounce-back of the target plant), so I am expecting that Ortho will be even better, so I will likely not have to use as much in a given area to get the superior results I'm used to. I also like that this product is set up to mix small batches of the chemical at a time, so I won't have large quantities of the mixed solution taking up space in my garage when I only wanted to treat a small area. This package consists of a box with two 5-oz pouches of the concentrated herbicide, and one of the familiar plastic bottle with the battery-powered sprayer that we've all seen at the home center, except that the bottle is only 1/2 gallon in capacity and not a full gallon. To be truthful, although the little battery-powered sprayers like this one were a big step up from the old hand-pump squeeze-trigger sprayers, for the most part I'll probably opt to use the included bottle just for mixing the solution, then transfer the contents to a more robust sprayer which will allow me to work faster. But for coverage of very small areas the included sprayer will be fine. I probably won't actually be trying this weed killer until winter is over, as even in the milder Florida winters weed growth is way, way reduced during this time. But I am very confident that I will be happy with the product's performance, and that Ortho will be my new go-to for weed and grass killer.

I did exactly what the instructions said, and gave three days for the Front yard and two days for the Backyard and weeds are still the same. They rated this as the #1 Weed Killer, a this stuff does not work at all. Don’t waste your money. They should just give me my money back. Can’t even give it one star rating, that’s how worthless it is, but had to so I could submit my review.
