GPS Navigator, OUMAX GP70HD 7.0inch GPS Navigation System with Turn-by-Turn Directions, Preloaded USA, Canada, Mexico Maps and Speed Limit Alert ¨C Black/8GB Flash Memory/HD Display

I bought this after my experience with the XGODY 826. You can read my review. This one looked similar and there is hope for eventual updates but I'm not holding my breath. More about that later. The OUMAX GP70HD is an improvement over the XGODY. It is easier to configure and there is more information about operation.but the basic functionality is the same. The only advantage of the XGODY over OUMAX is capacitive screen over resistive screen, although the OUMAX screen is OK. After a year with the XGODY I knew what I was doing so I am happy with the OUMAX.Both of the GPS I mentioned come out of the same hardware family based on Windows CE Personal Digital Assistant technology. The iGO software is a Windows application. If you drill down the configuration you will find a Windows CE Desktop but don't try anything. Looking around AMAZON there seem to be a dozen or more of these devices. This is my 5th GPS and I like it more than the Garmins I have. They all seem to have 2016 maps and there is probably no hope of any updates but they sure are cheap.********************************************It's nearly December, 2018. I have used the OUMAX on two trips to AZ and around the Twin Cities in MN. It works pretty well. The lack of updates is catching up to me. I have been on at least two non-existing roads. Navigating around Queen Creek, AZ will soon not be possible with all the new road construction.I would avoid buying any of these because I feel they will have 2016 maps with no hope of updates.

No street name, screen pilled off in less than a week of use. its frustrating. Every Other fixture did not work. This product is a scam. I don't know why amazon allow this type of product.

Didn't work got frozen 2min after turned on, I wanted to use for a trip to Mexico thank God I tried before my trip.

Not worth it. Save your money. Won’t turn on even after charge for over 3 hours.

I bought mine and I can not used it. We tried and tried and follow the direction but never worth. It is a garbage...,

It has no instructions on how to use. Never did figure out how to save addresses. Hard to navigate and very confusing how to use. Returned it next day. I will stick with Garmin and TomTom

It’s great price for the GPS Navifator. This instruction is clear and easy. I have tried one time since I got this. It works fine. you can ask too much for such a good price.
