Triumph: The Art of the Motorcycle Hardcover – 5 Oct. 2017

Brought as a present for a friend who likes Triumph bikes. Book seems good with plenty of information and different illustrations. I’m not a biker so could comment on technical information or accuracy. Covered All types of bikes Triumph have produced. Each Bike is covered by at least two pages. Illustrations vary from standard side on to plan shots, close up shots. Nicely presented.

Beautiful, heavy, well made and illustrated book bought for my boyfriend for Christmas so don’t yet know what he thinks of it!

Quality item, some great photos in here. Only downside is the price, a little expensive but it is a good quality book.

Informative and great photos. Only small criticism is lack of info on bonneville America and speedmaster. Very small section on these machines.

My husband loved this book for his birthday and is great for any motorbike lover!

I bought this book USED: An extremely good buy (book $3.50, shipping $3.99) for a virtually new $50 hardcover book. A perfectly good book (perhaps an over stock) with a small intentional tear on the book jacket spine making this a "seconds" for the exceptionally low $3.49 price.This book is not a scholarly volume, but is a well illustrated coffee table book with the first third covering the early history of Triumph. The majority of the book documents the more recent post 1980s Bloor/Hinckley era of the revitalized Triumph brand; this is fine for a newer Triumph owner like me as it covers the history leading up to their current product line and brand strategy (up to 2017). Again, probably not historically extensive enough for the older Triumph die-hards, but pretty illuminating for newer to the Triumph brand. This book has been criticized as being a rehash of Triumph marketing and using published catalog images, but I still found the text/images compelling as a relative Triumph newcomer. I would have personally like to see more of the sketches/models/concepts of the design development process and the decisions leading to the production models. Very cool book, and the used price of $3.50 makes this a wonderful buy.
