Its great!
I love lego so don't need much persuading to get building with my lad. This is a really good introduction model and has some really neat design features to begin to explain how a real engine works. My lad was intrigued with the working pistons. Really good product at the right price (£10 ish). As you go up through the range I think the 'value' becomes a little challenged but still great toys regardless.

Let's go Lego
With a 26yr old for whom no birthday or Christmas since 1990 is a good one unless Lego is included, I think this will delight her. As usual the variations on what at first appears to be a single construction are good, and it should test her ingenuity to get it assembled, though not for long I suspect. All her university engineer friends were well into Lego and this is another good addition to the vast amount she already has. A child who loves Lego of any design will go far!

Good technic set at a budget price
I'll be honest - We just can't get enough of Lego. This was at a budget price when bought and is in the usual Technic mould with optional building instructions for a plane.Completed in under 30 minutes by my 7 year old it won't tax the old grey matter too much.

Easier than it looks
Got this for my son who is lego mad as a well done in his school test. The age is 8 - 14 so figured for a 11 year old it would be fairly challenging. My son completed it in about 15 minutes! He loves it, I personally expected a little bit more for the money.

Good for adults too!
I actually bought this for my husband as a little project and it did take him quite a while to complete, which is what I was hoping. He said he enjoyed it and has only made one of the models so far so there's still more use to come from it. This product is good value for the number of pieces and versatility of the set.

My son loves it
The instructions are good and he enjoys taking it apart and building it again.

hovercraft 42002
this is a very good set, the hovercraft is very cool it has wheels on the bottom, which if you push it along make the pistons on the engine go in and out, and the also propeller goes round too, i've also built the b-model which is also very cool because it's completely different, it's a propeller plane which also has the engine with the pistons going in and out when you turn the propeller, I would highly recommend this set 5*****!

Great for lego fans
Bought this for 5 year old nephew who is a Lego addict, and even though the age range on the box is 8-11 he wasted no time in building it with me hindering rather than helping. Lots of small pieces to get lost in the carpet, and rather more difficult to take apart to make the other version, apparently you need a special lego-taking-apart-key which is not included. A good couple of hours worth of quiet time!
