Radio Control Projection Clock (Premium Quality/LCD HD Display/Official UK Version) with Colour Changing Display, Dual alarm and indoor temprature

Easy to set up, love the displays (clock face and projection) easy to read and not to bright for me, don’t think the temperature reading is as accurate as it could be though. But really happy with the purchase.

I have owned this clock now for 8 weeks and so far consider it a great purchase. Liked the fact that all I needed to do was pull out the plastic strip and activate the battery, and within a couple of minutes the time/date was accurately set. The screen is crystal clear and I like the colours. However, even though I have set the brightness level to the low setting, it was still too bright for me at night on most colours bar red. I have therefore left it on red. Many reviews I have read remark the temperature reading is too high. According to a couple of thermometers I have, the clock is reasonably accurate. I did not buy the clock for its alarm function, but agree with those who say having the buttons on the back is fiddly to turn the alarm off. The projection is clear to read and not only does it show the time and temperature, but it also shows (if set) the alarm is on, which may be useful to some.

A clock with an easy to read face during the night, with radio control for auto updating of time.The display is excellent to read with the numbers measuring 1.5” or 3.5cm in height. Brightness level on low is spot on.It was extremely easy to setup and automatically found the correct time quickly. The signal strength indicator does show full however no matter where I place it in my detached house though, hmmn.You can see it auto sync with the time server 4 times a day (2am, 8am, 2pm and 8pm) as the signal icon will flash and the display changes to green for a couple of minutes whilst it does this (obviously not noticeable if the colour is already on green).We have it on the “Looping” setting which cycles gently through 256 shades of colours. I find this setting very calming and helps me drift off to sleep.Also available is a “Rainbow” setting, which cycles through 8 different rainbow colours, or you can choose your own colour by selecting “Tune”.The temperature is within 1 degree of another thermometer I have so really happy with that.The projection info of time and temperature on the ceiling is excellent, much better than I thought. Though only in red and really large!My only gripe is with the buttons;The Snooze button located along the top, operates again in 5 minutes intervals - continuously for 24hrs until you reset it at the back with the Alarm button. I find the alarm on/off button to be a right pain when half asleep, because it is located amongst a row of 7 same sized buttons! (I’ve included at photo to show). Why wasn’t this placed as a slider switch along the top?The top of the clock also has a button for the projection, but who needs quick access to rotate projection!

It makes a GREAT Change to receive a high quality product, well thought out and reasonably easy to use, and set-up. This is what I found having purchased the Youshiko Radio Control Clock... the quality of production and the visual design has been thought-out, from a practical point and visual perspective.The BIG Plus too, is it comes with a NON-INTERFERING Power Supply, it's a Transformer Linear type, not a switch-mode that radiates all over the low and high frequency shortwave radio bands; thus in keeping with minimum (QRN = Noise) for it's own requirement, to receive the UK or European transmitters.On that point, and to give some back ground on these transmitters, there are two primary ones; and keep in mind you will have to make a decision which one to purchase, based on your location; also the actual sighting of the radio clock because you will likely find a lower signal if you get the wrong one... so, if in Europe or very near, the position of the clock facing you (In-Line) will be mainly an East-West receive direction, thus for UK the orientation will be North-South; it's an important point to consider, and will save any disappointment; although I have found the clock I have seems very tolerant of it's position, so not to critical here in Jersey, receiving from the UK.So at the end of the day, I highly recommend this clock with it's multi display colour's either fixed or cycling through, and you have the wall or ceiling projection with a focus adjustment; plus an alarm timer option to wake you up, or as a reminder ! It's all been catered for in anticipation of your daily time keeping needs.

The ceiling projector is excellent! Very readable, very well focussed to give a pin sharp image on the ceiling.The other display on the unit itself is equally clear and readable, but it’s a bit bright! There are some settings but it’s still a bit bright on the lowest one - this is only our opinion, others might not agree!We experimented with the different colours you can choose 256 in fact, and settled on setting it to permanent RED. Bearing in mind that the brightness is much less an issue when the colour is red, rather than the green, this is the one we have chosen and it is fine!Of course this ability to change the colour only applies to the clock face display, it doesn’t apply to the projector which is always red.One thing we have noticed is that once or twice in every 24 hours, the display will suddenly change to GREEN for two minutes! Then it reverts to RED! We have yet to discover why this is happening!But all in all we like this clock and would reckoned it! Bear in mind though, it is NOT a clock radio - only an alarm clock.
