It Works
I like the fact that if I can get my cat to unclamp her teeth long enough for me to get a good squirt of it into her mouth, it DOES work..and after a couple of days the large hair ball clogging up her tummy will find it's way to the litter tray..making both her and me feel better...I realky do not like making her take this, and her treating me like public enemy no. 1 for several days...I do not like it being so sticky, one sudden movement and it's all down the cat and all over you.. .some cats will happily lick it off their paws, or take it from a spoon, not mine, she just flicks it away onto everything, so has to be down the hatch the hard way.But it realky does get rid of those horrid furballs.I think its expensive for a small tube, but what animal products are not, especially if they are good & this us tge one my vet recommends, & he is more expensive than Amazon by a long way, and I have to go and get it...

Good value cheaper than buying from vet - works well
Prescribed by my vet for my cat at a time he was having stomach problems from hairballs and licking/ eating things he ought not really…So much cheaper to buy online after first prescription (which to be fair my vet did say to do…)No prescription needed and my cat loves it so licks it up whilst purring… castor oil type medicine that helps settle sort out tummy aches in cats in a very yummy non caster oil tasting way really !

Easy to feed to the cat but
Easy to feed it to the cat, but difficult to measure the dosage. I prefer ones like a syringe set it to the amount and just push it out. This I try to use a scale to measure but it doesn’t work

Worked really well for my cat
This product has been great for my cat who has slow movement of his bowels and hard poop. I give him fresh cooked chicken with a little bit of this cat laxative/hairball paste in it each day and it has helped him so much. Vet recommended Katalax and he was put off by the taste. He much prefers this Laxapet paste instead.

Shop Around First
Was hoping this was going to do the job after reading reviews. A great idea in theory, good price, packaged and delivered well. As soon as I pierced the membrane my cat vanished, I agree with him - the smell hits you, it’s not pleasant and lingers for ages! I did manage later on and put some gel on his front leg. He was far from impressed and scowled at me, he walked/limped with his front leg lifted up and wiped it off on the bed!

Recommended by my vet
I was recommended to get this for my cat as he had been very poorly with pancreatitis and wasn't eating properly and had constipation. it definitely helped with this.

Good stuff
My cat didn’t like the smell so had to put it on her paw to lick off. It’s quite thick but only needed a little bit for 2 days and it did the trick!
