Uptown car seat

Purchased this car seat so that my 2 year old boy could ride in the front of my car instead of just my wife’s. I wanted something portable and easy to instal and remove so day to day I can put it away. This product is superb, so unbelievably easy to instal - I just followed the video on the product info page and it was done in a couple of minutes. Fits so nicely and is really soft, my boy absolutely loves it! Highly recommended for loads of different uses even for something semi permanent as it’s clearly also really safe. Great product and value for money.

This seat is great for travelling when doing transfers and short trips. It is very easy to install and my toddler likes it but he will not nap on it and it is quite upright. So if doing journeys that are more than 90 mins I would recommend taking a bigger seat but the kanga is excellent for travelling when cars are involved but they aren't the main mode of transport. I wouldn't do a road trip with one but it has been great for holidays where we hire a car for short distances but get there via train or plane.

Great concept. It doesn’t have much cushioning but I guess the lack of bulky materials keeps the unit light and easy to Cary. My child is 14 months old and too tall / long for a standard infant car seat. I visit family in cabs or ride in their cars so this is a perfect occasional use car seat. Drawbacks - in a 3 point harness I’ve struggled to get the car seat to be flush against the seat. It always feels a bit loose My child being taller than average is too short for the seat to surround her head fully even at the lowest head rest setting Not much cushioning for protection of side impact Feels flimsy all round That said, it’s the only thing on the market that’s lightweight and folds. Good design but could be better. Definitely not for permanent or long term use

This product is amazing! It arrived today and I am very impressed. We were going to hire a car seat whilst on holiday but the cost of hiring one for the 10 days was working out to be expensive. We paid only £20 more to get our own carry around car seat. It is easy to use and light! It is such a big weight off our shoulders to have this. And it is something we can use for jumping in Ubers in London which we haven't been able to do so far. This car seat takes the limits off travelling. I am very happy with my purchase!

Super easy to install and uninstall. It’s still quite big folded up but easy enough to carry around in the carry bag and lightweight. My 18 month old son who is tall (around 86cm) and 14kg was happy to sit in this seat and even fell asleep several times. Very happy with this seat so far! Also takes up much less room in the car than a normal car seat. I was also able to take this on a plane as hand luggage.

The 2nd we have purchased, now have a matching pair. Really easy to install and comfortable so the children tell me. For us it’s the portability that’s the winner here. With the provided carry bag they’ve been through many airports and don’t add too much bulk to your luggage trolley, unlike traditional sized seats.

My daughter complains about where the fastening sits on her thighs that it’s too tight and she’s uncomfortable. She’s 2.5 years old and average height and weight but no matter what we try she doesn’t seem comfortable in the chair.

This is an extremely light weight car seat and suitable for air travel. The seat does not recline. We brought a rolled up towel and placed it under the seat to help make it comfortable for my 22 month old. Still, my child would not lay back and had a hard time going to sleep. May want to consider another seat if traveling over 6 hours. Kept the little squirmer strapped in, but with regular protests. Also, when I checked out on Amazon, the price/ resulting invoice was only £83.95 as I live in the Channel Islands but somehow, I was charged £92.50 when the item was dispatched? This item was listed as a Prime item. On a side note, this bait and switch tactic is used with Amazon Prime memberships. Signed up for the annual billing option yet charged for one monthly subscription of £12.99, then the yearly one month later???
