Way more than what you pay for.
I bought it for thin metal. Nope! This thing lays down a beautiful hot bead. Bought two. One for work and one for home.

Works Better than Expected but Keep It Isolated
I have been impressed with the welding capabilities of this welder considering the voltage. I do highly recommend using an isolated circuit with nothing else on it and having at least 20 amps available at any given time. For what it is and the price, it is a nice little welder for quick jobs. I am concerned with how long it will actually last, but so far so good.

Great machine for the price
Easy set up weld is nice for a Flux cored wire. The stick welding is a great option for some repairs.

Bummer and good news update
Well I hooked it up to 120v to try it. Things did not go well. Took a lot of effort to get it to weld with the wire feed. super sensitive on the settings. could not weld anything over 14ga. I tried the stick weld with 6011 took a bit to get it dialed in. 7018 did not work at all could not even strike an ark. One fellow on the internet said he had problems with 120v. He switched to 220v and things worked better. Once my other parts come in I will try 220v.I cannot recommend this welder at this time. I wish I would have spent the extra $50 and bought the other. I will update this feed back later to let you know how the 220v setup works. Update the company was quick to respond to this complaint. Good people, I will try there new welder that's is going to be available soon. I did not have time to deal with warranty issues I needed to get the job done. The quality build of this welder is good. I had a bad controller in mine. one in a thousand type thing.

Pleasantly Surprised!
Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for this welder because of the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The arc welder works well, but it does draw a lot of current. Make sure you don't have a lot of lot on the outlet you are using. Ran a nice bead and was able to fill in a hole. The MIG side works well too. Obviously, you get some spatter because you don't have gas, but but it gets the job done. Also, ran a nice bead and filled in a hole. This welder is great for small jobs and a great value!
