POWERTEC 2-1/2 Inch ID Y Fitting for 2-1/2 Inch OD Dust Collection Pipes, Adapters and Fittings with Splice for 2 1/2 Inch ID Dust Collection Hose Connector, 1 set (70320)

Our S-i-L got as new Craftsman Shop-Vac type vacuum and it came with two large pieces of 2 1/2 in. tubing holders attached to the powerhead. They work incredibly well to manage the vacuum hose. I've wished for YEARS that I had a way to wrap up that honkin' big hose so I'm NOT tripping over it. Having esperienced how well the "hose holders" worked to manage the Craftsman's hose, I searched for a 2 1/2" piece of PCV or ABS pipe that would do the job. Could not find anything that would fit the hose closely enough to work to contain it as desired. Then I found this clear chunk of tubing on Amazon. Seemed to be the perfect Diameter size, so I ordered it. When it came, I cut off two 3" long pcs. on my miterbox saw. Then I put those in my bench vise, inline with the clamping screw and tightened the vice carefully against the ends, so about 1/3 of the tubing was above the Vice Jaws. I used a 32 tpi hack saw to make two cuts of approx. 1/3 of the tubing - so I ended up with about 2/3's of the pipe still intact. Having that remaining 2/3's of the tubing allows the clear tubing to nicely grip the Vacuum hose and hold it in place! I located the Air Exhaust ports on either side of the upper motor housing and then predrilled a couple of small pilot holes In the "holders" I'd cut and then used two Self drilling screws to fasten the Holders to the motor housing outlet ports. (knowing that there weren't any wires or anything I could damage in those Port areas, as I could feel around up inside those outlets) Now, when I'm done vacuuming, I just grab the hose and wind it 360 degrees around the Motor head, dropping the hose in the two holders on the motor housing shrowd and tuck the end of the hose in- under the hose before the first holder. Super simple and now I have a Vacuum hose that is always contained and right were it should be! THANKS Amazon...for always seeming to have just what I need to fix my challenges!

Oh my gosh, I got this as a tunnel for my grandbaby's hot wheels cars. Get this. Don't buy all those cheap toy car with ramps. This is perfect. He cant destroys this, lol. Great value for money. I am pleased that I went this route.

Is a solid product but after opening for use dust gets in the grooves and it wont close causing air to come through so opening another gate you get less suction. I have to hit it against the floor and shake the dust out. Not sure how to correct this have not found a way.

Works great!

I set up my dust collection system for my shop with clear 2.5” tubes along one wall, with blast gates every 3 to 4 feet. I really like that I can see if any dust is building up and clear accumulations before it jams up. The clear tube seems durable enough, not as much so as PVC But I like it better.

Hose works as expected. Great for connecting different tools to my chip collecting system.

Fits within my dust collection system

Dust gets into the corners of the gate, and is difficult to clean and remove. This keeps the gate from closing completely. Otherwise they are fine.

Esse produto eu comprei na Amazon.br e chegou no dia seguinte, pois eles tinham estoque aqui no Brasil, mas a Amazon dos Estados Unidos também comercializa e envia para o BRasil. O melhor, é que os preços já incluem as taxas de importação. Só o prazo de entrega que geralmente é um pouco mais longo, dependendo do item. Assim que eu finalizar meu projeto de bancada para minha serra Dewalt 7492, publicarei fotos. Recomendo.
