I find this easier to clean than the slow feeding mats that have ting ridges on it. My cat eats well using this plate.

No suction cups but heavy. Easy to clean. Unfortunately he wouldn't eat off of it! He's our first cat, so I never heard of slow feeders. but he must eat too fast sometimes because he'll vomit right after he eats. The vet said he has a sensitive stomach so we bought the food for that, didn't work. Bought a set of raised bowls ppl told us about, also didn't work. I searched some more and found a raised, tilted set of clear bowls just like his. One bowl is a slow feeder. Hopefully this combination will work.

My cat eats way too fast, she doesn't even chew her food.... then vomits it all up!This product works like a charm! I have been using it for a few weeks now and she hasn't thrown up since!!!The rigid "fish" will not allow her to "wolf" down her food. It forces her to work at getting the food so it slows down the actual consumption of food. A win-win!! Excellent product!

This is the most perfect bowl I could find with the height of the fishies I thought was best for a cat to eat from. My fast/over-eater cat actually has to take his time eating, though after having it for a while he has realized how to up his eating speed, where at first he was confused and saw it as a challenge. Once in a while we still have to call for him to slow down. He used to throw up at least once a day for inhaling his food but now it's once a week at most. Super easy to clean! If you have multiple cats like me (who now have to suffer because one cat can't control himself with a free feeder lol) you will have to fill it a few times a day but I gotta say our food supply has lasted so much longer after getting this bowl. We always refill after it's empty but I guess it's because my cat isn't eating half the bowl then throwing it up!

Overall good bowl. Obviously wish it was glass or something better but living on a budget with a new cat doesn't exactly allow for that. Perfect for slow feeding wet food!My cat is a monster and will snarf down food like hes homeless but this has helped a lot. Will even feed his kibble in this bowl and it allows him more time to digest! Little man spends so much more time and energy playing now 😅

Great size, just as pictured. I am assuming it would be easy to clean if used for dry food. Wet might pose a problem or at the very least some effort. As far as 'suction power' it is just a plastic dish no suction at all??? If my cats catch on they might flip it. My cats hate it, which is great no more back hoe mouth scoops from my fuzzy piggies. It does the job and I find they are eating less (this is good trust me) worth the buy, cute.
