First I have to let you know about me. For YEARS I've always said that it is a waste of time if you use these stupid off-brand cartridges. I've heard they're messy don't work with the . I've actually reviewed the XP-800 before, and I have to tell you even on DRAFT, which ALL my printers are set to from day one, the thing drinks ink like a dead man stuck in the desert for a YEAR!!. If this didn't work, I was going to buy my old printer on ebay and GIVE this one away. It is with that wait and see attitude that I tried this.THE MINUTE it came I read all the instructions FIRST, then followed them meticulously one by one. Five minutes later my printer was ready to print. I printed the test pattern, and because of bubbles, I had to run 2 clean cycles like the manual said. I'm so impressed! I feel like a fool for not trying it sooner. A full set of ink XL cartridges costs $98.95 for 20ml of ink per cartridge.. $80.00 if you get it on the 20% discounts. This costs $70 and gives you more than 100ml of ink/cartridge.. The refill cost like $20.00 for the whole set!!! I will come back and update this as I use this.. you CANNOT use this around little children though, and it is little bit messy in the beginning.. Wear gloves and you will be fine!

Thanks to this product I feel like I can really use my color printer without fear of waisting money of expensive ink cartridges.This product is a little rough around the edges which was expected for something not really supported by Epson. The instructions were not entirely accurate to the product in the box (the photos of the product are not the same and they refer to a syringe which is not included) and it took a few cleaning of the print heads and test prints to get my ink flowing right. Raising the external ink wells an inch up off the table really helped as well as setting print quality to "Photo RPM" when printing glossy photos. You may also have to pop the internal ink cartridges out and then back in again once in while as the printer may occasionally stop printing and "reject" them.If you're willing to take a chance and be patient, in the long run this product will really pay off.

Do not purchase this item. Every purchase, it seems, requires a frustrating ordeal to make the product work. In my case, I could not get the product to work correctly. Refuses to print black ink. It will, however, spill black ink out through the cartridge head, when I raise the refiller above the height of the cartridge, per the troubleshooting instruction that FantasyBuy replied with. Upon asking for replacement with a functioning device, I was met with a simple, "We have sold a lot of the system. Most of customers likes the product if you know how to install." I installed exactly as directed and troubleshooted exactly as directed. I shouldn't have to figure out or fiddle around with the product more than the directions, and if that is the case, then my product should be deemed defective. Terrible waste of money.

All you need to do to test it is raise and lower the cartridges above the tank and make sure the air bubbles move in all of the hoses... if one doesnt..it's plugged.One of the black ink tubes on mine was plugged so I had to screw around to make it work... to be fair, i didn't contact the vendor or ask for help, but you shouldn't have to for this price... I imagine most will receive this and it will work out of the box.. mine didn't so i fixed it (45 minutes).It has been working flawlessy for months now, and i am not spending big $$ for ink..so i am happy and I support this type of product completely.It is risky to mess around with if you do get a bad one, I recommend just asking them to replace it...its a tank full of ink and a tube full if ink, you could make a huge (staining whatever it touches) mess.. and its hard to figure out where the plug is without getting ink on you...mine was plugged where they glued the hose end on where it goes into the tank on the big black tank.I have used these systems in the past, and had great luck..i do recommend it.

Product did not fit my Epson Expression XP-600 Printer as advertised without EXTREME modifications. I followed instructions explicitly and the tubing from the Gigablock kept jamming the printer. After reading, modifications were required which meant cutting part of the wall of the printer to get it to work properly.Also,the top of the printer would not close without trimming part of the printer away. I decided not to ruin my printer by performing the required modifications in order to get the Gigablock CIS CISS to work.Consequently, I gave it a "1" rating which I feel is generous.I did use a Continuous Ink Supply on my last Epson printer, and it worked splendidly.

Recently installed. Only one day.Tested.All good except for the spill ink cartridges-guess height difference of geographic area. Carefully cleaned the spill and was fine except my fingers One star away.But really that takes away a point is the difference between the delivered product and installation manual.Each cartridge has a plug that is not listed or mentioned in the instructions. Only until I removed seems to be working fine.Once past these anomalies, I printed some sheets and performs very well.After a few days I'll evaluate as only one person before me had expressed a comment.

Are you tired of sitting around and stabbing yourself in the eyes over and over again? Do you desire a new way to inflict untold amounts of pain upon yourself? Go ahead and buy this "CIS" ink system and try to make it work. Following the instructions and using the included materials makes it IMPOSSIBLE to close the lid of your printer, thereby rendering it useless. Save yourself some money on the cost of expensive ink refill systems that don't work and take a pass on this useless tangle of rubber hoses and leaking plugs.
