Pretty easy to put together
I'm a 60yo petite female, and I put this together in about 40 min, give or take, and that includes correcting errors I made because I didn't look closely enough at the directions. I am not terribly handy, but I can follow directions. All the pieces are well packed, small stuff in a little envelope, screws in their own tiny ziplock bag. I had a few extra, but the heads are big enough that I didn't worry about losing them. The inclusion of a real screw driver is a very nice touch. There was also a pair of cotton gloves in the envelope and another pair with rubber palms tossed into the box. I don't think these are necessary, but if you have soft hands or are concerned about your manicure, you will find them useful. The directions are fairly simply, but they do require close attention. If the drawing shows one side facing you as you assemble it, then you will find it much easier if you have that side facing you as you assemble it. If one piece in the drawing looks not quite even (see very first drawing), it's because the pieces start out uneven until you slide them together. So my advice is don't assume you know what to do, follow the directions closely. The drawings are actually more detailed than at first appearance. The only tricky part was the first step, fitting the six sides together. Once fully assembled, it holds together well. But initially they wanted to slide apart. I found it helpful to keep the edges on the ground, rather than a flat part. It seems counter intuitive but it makes a difference. Here again, if I had paid closer attention to the drawing I would have known better. If it shows a particular side or angle facing you, that's what you should do. Finally, the last little bit is a skinny rod that holds the legs of the base in place. Initially I had some difficulty because the hole on one base leg seemed slightly askew. What I discovered was that if I inserted the rod into that hole first, the other went in real easy, and ultimately I think the ... askewedness? ... actually causes it to hold together better than it might have otherwise, so maybe that's deliberate? To give you some idea of how much the 18 1/2 g holds, I emptied a drywall bucket's worth of plant debris into the assembled tumbler and there's still quite a lot of room in there. This one will be used mostly for deadheaded and pruned debris from my patio plants. If it works out as well as I hope, I foresee getting another for yard waste.

Works well and fun to use
It is fun to spin it and spinning and sliding doors work great. Sometimes the yellow locking latch will come partially undone but just pops right back in. These latches should be made of strong metal. It is very sturdy. Assembly was very difficult and time consuming as each wall is a separate piece and you can’t lock them in until you have them all barely slid together. Directions are confusing at best. Built product is strong and sturdy. It was worth the frustration of assembly.

Seems well made
Let me start this off by saying the instructions are horrible. I should've made a video for those that purchase in the future because it truly is very easy to put together once you figure out how to do it.After you put it together, ensure the pieces are completely snapped into place, then retighten screws if need be. I had to use a small mallet to get them to snap as I have wrist and hand problems. But it seems sturdy and well made. I love that there are drainage/aeration holes, though I will probably leave the door open during the day to ensure it gets enough oxygen. Just close it at night so no critters get in.As for this size, I am likely going to need a much larger one for my veggie container garden. BUT if you have limited room, this us nice and compact.

Is it me? Or the product?
It wasn't so easy to put together -- the "snap-in" parts kept unsnapping. When I finally had it together, it held up for the trip outdoors. This is the 37 gallon iteration. It handled a couple pounds of kitchen waste, but at about the 5# mark, it just came apart. That open gap at the top is NOT the door... one of the panels just fell out (and lies below the now-useless device). Look closely and see that the joints are separated around it. Maybe I'm just no good at this kind of DIY stuff, but I think the product has to share some of the blame.

Works great
High quality and well designed. Having two chambers is perfect so you can load one side for a while and as it composts, you can put your newer stuff in the other side. Then reverse order so you have fully composted side. Easy to assemble too

Tricky to operate and assembly nightmare
I really hated the assembly. It was a pain in the butt to screw tons of parts together and they didn’t snap in easily. Even after assembling it correctly, the lid gets stuck while opening it a lot. Overall, I guess it’s okay. I like that it locks in place easily. The air holes provide air flow, but you’ll still need compost starter to help with odor and decompose faster

Really nice piece for a beginner gardener
I’ve recently taken up gardening, and this neat little composter was vital in the process of digging up the garden plot alone. Now I fill it with kitchen compost materials, and it’s remained sturdy and effective. My compost isn’t done cooking yet, but the progress is observable—and honestly pleasant! I haven’t had an issue with odors, and in fact get a surprisingly gratifying whiff of damp soil when I open the window to toss in more stuff. There’s also been no issue with flies. I was nervous about getting it wrong with my first time composting, but this item has made it super easy.

Very Difficult to Assemble, Came Apart and Rain Leaks In
Parts would not fit together without a lot of effort. Took a lot of banging with a rubber mallet to seat the end pieces. It was a nightmare to assemble this, and it took about two hours to wrestle all the parts together. Then two of the panels separated after a few weeks. The good news was that I had not started to fill that side. I could not get them back together, so taped over the gap. Hope that will work.Rain also gets into the composter, even though I have taped over all the likely entry points. May be coming through the sliding doors at the top.I had previously assembled a composter, purchased from a different seller, that I thought was identical to this one. That went together very easily, without the need to pound away with a mallet. Assembly tine for that one was about 15 minutes as parts easily fit together. And no rain or snow has made their way inside.
