Q: Are these trade approved?

They are not technically classed as 'Trade Approved'. If they are to be used in a retail environment, something like the Adam Swift SWZ series scales are trade approved and are in the region of £275. Regards, Mark @ Digital Scales Company

Q: Can these scale accuratly weigh 1g like it says in the description?

This scale is extremely accurate as a bakers scale and has a resolution of 1 gram, however every scale has a minimum weight which for this scale is approx 40grams. This does not mean you cannot weigh items less than 40grams but the accuracy will not be the same as above it.

Q: Can you buy a wider or longer plate attachment for the scales for larger pieces of dough?
