The PERFECT sized notes for smaller needs
I'm so glad they started remaking this size, which I've been using constantly for 40? 50? years!!. I cant live without them. So often we just need a few words or a sentence - so these don't cover the whole page up, or wherever you stick them. They make great tabs. 3M - please make these in soft pastel again, I hate the screaming colors that and they're so dark pencil lead doesn't show well! Calm is good.

Small box....
Okay, I know these were the 1.25 x 2-inch post-its, but for some reason, I believed the box would be bigger. There are 24 packets, and each has 100 stick-its. I do like the size I've used them before. I wanted them all in one color. As an aspiring writer, I use them to help create a physical outline of my stories. Rather than a poster board which takes up too much room, I use a drawing sketchbook. The one in the picture is a Strathmore; the paper is 9 in. by 12 in and weighs 64 lbs. The stickiness seems pretty good for how I use the post-it; it's halfway down the note and stays pretty well on the page.

There are somewhat less expensive, lookalike alternatives but they don't STICK as well!
We have purchased both these (the ORIGINAL Post-It tags) and ones that claim to be just as good. What we have found is that the suitability in application depends on what your use for the tags is. Over time, or on even slightly textured-surface objects the less expensive alternatives tend to fall off, more easily and, most of the time, can not be removed and re-applied. For longevity, we use the originals for most things and across the size and color-range.

1.5 by 2 inch Post-it Notes are hard to find even in stationary stores. This is a very useful size and a good buy, pricewise.

Not a good sign that the box arrived damaged but worse yet, the Post-It Notes were curled in the box. I was expecting them to be wrapped in clear plastic which would have prevented this problem. Also, the glue on the back is weaker than usual, these Post-It notes may be quite old!
