Electronic Toilet seat switch

Works OK in 3 way switch with an LED bulb. The LED bulb, a bit older (5+ years) however retains a slight glow (hardly noticeable) for several hours. Reading online this is due to the light ring on the switch sending a small amount of electricity to the bulb. Older bulbs don't register this small current, but some LEDs do. Consensus is this does not affect or affect to any practical degree the longevity of the LED bulb. No problems over several months. As in a hallway I don't mind the slight glow.Other than that the switch is very nice looking, feels solid and is easy to adjust the delay at setup. Much better than the old style push kind that never lasted.

Easy to wire in, but do be careful to select appropriate light bulb as, like dimmer switches, this technology will not work with all types of low energy light bulbs(in my case, CFL bulbs flash once a second after timer turns off). Apparently not all low energy bulbs are CFL &/or are problematic, and I got a very similar looking low-energy bulb to work fine with it. Just bear in mind, these switches won't work with ALL bulb types like the old pneumatic ones do.

Easy to install and easy to use. Its lit up in the dark so is easy to find and switch on. Adjustable timer when setting up and hasnt failed me yet. ended up bying 5 to replace the old mechanical timer switches

good product, but a nightmare to set timer

Excellent product. Easy to fit and works exactly as advertised. I adjusted mine to its maximum delay and it proves to be exactly 12 minutes as per the spec. Very good value.

I wanted this because quite simply I always, and I mean always, forget to knock off the bathroom light. I thought this would be absolutely perfect but unfortunately it has one gigantic flaw. Seeing as the bathroom is used for showering as well as the short trips to the loo, setting a time after which this turns off is a matter of careful planning. I planned setting it for 10 minutes, Enough time for a shower and should it be jsyust a short trip and I remember about the light, the ability to turn it off....but wait! Cannot do that. There is no turn-off option at all on this think. Pressing it again does nothing, it just carries on along the timed path from the initial press.After reading this I simply never bothered installing the useless thing - anybody want mine?

This is an excellent design, well constructed and will arrive at your door in a surprisingly short time. However, as an electronics engineer, I can tell you that it is not suitable for economy bulbs in some cases, as there is a degree of leakage - very small - but enough to strike an economy bulb. Once struck, the main current begins to flow and uses up the reserve leakage energy, so the light will go out. It then builds once more and strikes the bulb yet again. The end result will be a strobing flash of very short duration ... when switched OFF. It is quite suitable for larger current-demanding lighting, such as filament bulbs or strip lighting. If you want an economy timer that will operate any and all types of lighting, you should buy one with a relay output, the relay simply replacing the normal metal contact style of light switch.I am extremely pleased with this product, as it will indeed, probably last a lifetime.

It seems extraordinary to me that all of the illuminated time-delay switches featured on Amazon are designed to work with high loads (i.e. the now-obsolete tungsten and mains halogen bulbs). If you try to use them with low-wattage CFLs and LEDs, the lights either flicker or glow dimly when the time-switch shuts off. The vendor claims that these will work with loads of 20 watts and above. That is not my experience (and you can completely ignore the 5W minimum quoted in the leaflet accompanying the switch). With a total load of 24 watts of dimmable LEDs, the lights still glow dimly when the switch is off. Please, Amazon, start offering "modern" time-delay switches which work with modern lighting!

El interruptor dura unos 10 minutos encendido sin problemas. Lo tengo conectado para encender a una caldera de gasóil que a su vez caliente un termo de agua de 75 litros. Funciona perfectamente

Utilizzato per comandare una ventola di aspirazione in un bagno,funziona perfettamente e vale quel che costa. Semplice da installare.Avendo misure non usuali per l'italia non e stato semplie trovare lascatola per montarlo esterno al muro. Sono misure inglesi.Problema comunque risolto.

por su precio no se puede pedir mas, es un poco plastiquito todo pero funciona perfectamente y es idoneo para temporizar una lampara, una bomba de descarga,...

El interruptor en si funciona, es facil de configurar el tiempo que deseas que este, el problema (al menos que he tenido yo) es que los tornillos no me coincidian con la caja de luz de la pared, y he tenido que hacer un apaño, por lo demas funciona correctametne.
