Piyo Piyo Baby Nail Scissors with Case (Yellow)

These come out top in the US, so I decided to spend that bit more. The design is fun and they are easily sharp enough. I like the the tips are rounded.Our daughter is a real wriggler, so I found it hard to cut her nails unless she is asleep... and she doesn't like to sleep during the day! A friend showed me how it's done! You give the child the cover/sheath for the scissors to play with and chew and meanwhile cut the other hand, whilst she's wide awake! I'm not sure of the BPA content and am sure that the cover isn't designed to be eaten, but does help to get nails cut.

Very good quality scissors which I used from newborn as they are tiny enough. Just need to use them when baby is calm or asleep to avoid nicking fingertips when wriggling!

These things are amazing and we use them for cutting hair as well as nails. Just need to buy a new one from time to time.

I had this scissors since my son was born and I loved it very much. It’s easy to hold and cut baby’s nails and very safe to use. Since I love it very much and I decided to reorder a spare one for traveling. However the new order I’ve received is not the same quality as I had before. The new one I got is slightly bulkier and also stiffer. The cute duck design has turned to pale. I have to be very cautious when I used it and still worried that it may hurt my baby.This problem has also happened on other items I’ve ordered from amazon. The original item is good and reputable, but later the quality and even the packaging all have changed sneakingly without any notification. Some vendors have abused the trust on amazon’s review system and may deceive the customers intentionally. Hope amazon can have better quality control and can provide reputable products with consistent quality.

I swear by these scissors for being the best baby/toddler nail scissors out there. As a first time parent I was incredibly nervous to cut little baby nails but found that these were very easy and comfortable to use and allowed me the most control I could have while trying to trim the nails of a moving target! They easily cut through nails like cutting through paper so you don't have to worry about squeezing or cutting too hard and accidentally hurting your child. The blades of the scissors slightly curve upward toward the end which makes it easier for cutting the nail and also less likely that you will cut their skin by accidentally clipping the next finger over. The ends of the scissors are rounded to also prevent accidental cutting or poking. I feel that I have more control while cutting small finger nails while using these scissors rather than trying to line up clippers which are bulky and don't allow as much flexibility in maneuvering while cutting.

We have been using adult cuticle scissor to trim our newborn’s nails. We bought this baby-proof version at the urging of grandma. These scissors are thick and took more effort to cut than normal cuticle scissors. The rounded ends are a good idea but we’re sticking with our pair of pointy ended scissors.

These are simply the best! One of my favorite baby gifts for new moms. Did you recently take home a sweet baby and those sweet little fingernails are growing? Scared you might nick one of those sweet fingers while clipping his/her nails? LOOK NO FURTHER. This is what you need. These little shears are curved, strong & effective at getting the job done safely. I think it is nearly impossible to clip a finger with these. I started using these in my tiny newborn, and now she's a squirmy 14 month old. It has worked perfectly every time. Only complaint might be that her big toes are getting a little harder to clip as the nails are getting thicker. But these are baby nail clippers, and do that job marvelously.

These are night and day better over the typical straight clippers most adults use. They do have a curve to them (and fit into the case either way) and I use that to my advantage to cut 1 nail in 1 cut at a time.These clippers are very sharp too. These have been used for awhile and have been successful with cutting little ones nails - fingers and toes. The flat clippers almost guarantee the cut the skin and draw blood.

Doesn’t seem to be the original. It’s cheaply made. I own another Piyo Piyo, I bought 5 years ago, and was still in shape, but I broke it. Maybe the quality isn’t the same. Very disappointed.

I could not figure out how anyone uses this. Maybe they wait until their baby's nail are very long? I keep my baby's nails very short and cut them almost every day and could not even get close to her nail because of the thickness of the blades. For those who love this, more power to them! I just could not figure out how this is better than the nail clippers with a protective guard. I've stored it away and will try with baby #2.

Recommended by a mom friend. These scissors work super amazingly and are very easy. You're able to cut baby's nails while they are squirming without the fear of cutting them, and getting close. Previously used baby nail clippers and the baby nail frida clippers, these ones are so much easier. Plus side, super adorable. Highly recommendable.

These nail scissors are great! They are so great I have used them on both of my kids and have purchased them multiple times for gifts. HOWEVER, please ensure that yours comes in a package! My most recent purchase came in a ziplock bag and looked used. It had black marks and scratches. I don't understand how this item can pass as being sold as new! Where's the quality control? I am returning this. The product is awesome as long as its new.

I have always used the baby nail clippers on my daughter since birth... she is 3yo now and has been giving me issues with cutting her nails, so I have been doing it when she is asleep lol ... I decided to buy these scissors and see if they would be easier to use while she is sleeping.... they are great!

Love these! I had a pair of baby scissors and they broke, so I searched everywhere for a good pair to cut my babies nails! These are great! They’re sharp but easy to use so you don’t cut the skin! And I like the little case for them so it keeps them safe!

These were always my go to for cutting my infant and toddlers nails. I ordered this new pair because I wanted another set and these are DIFFERENT - not the same color as the pic or the original ones I got 4 years ago and the metal is bent so they do not work right, they don’t cut. Very frustrating.

Not easy to hold and not so easy to use these scissors. Too small for daddies and mommies handsUncomfortable. Especially if you have big fingers it's really uncomfortable to hold. Not recommend for people (PARENTS) with big palms, hands or fingers

After experiencing accidentally cutting a little chunk out of the top of my newborn's finger while using baby nail clippers, I vowed to never clip his nails again. Then several recommended biting their nails...ummm no! I have no idea how he gets black stuff underneath his nails, but it's not going into my mouth. Then, someone recommended baby nail scissors. I thought I'd give them a try. I was not disappointed in the slightest. This is such an easy, controlled way to cut my infant son's nails. I still have my husband hold him while he's sleeping, and I trim the nails, but I don't feel anxious about it anymore. Grateful for this product. Bonus: cute ducks ;) lol
